Omid Scobie’s Biographer Career Dashed as He Disappears in Los Angeles
Omid Scobie, the biographer of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, finds himself in a state of seclusion in Los Angeles, with his career in ruins.
What was supposed to be his dream project has quickly turned into a royal nightmare for him.
Recent reports suggest that Scobie is planning to disappear in the new year due to the negative attention he has received for his tell-all book about the royals, titled “Endgame.”
As many royal fans are already aware, Scobie's book unveiled the names of individuals allegedly involved in royal discrimination.
In the Dutch translation of “Endgame,” Scobie claims that it was an accidental revelation, but the damage had already been done.
King Charles was undoubtedly displeased to hear once again about Meghan Markle's accusations against her husband's family members regarding their concerns over the potential darkness of her baby's skin color, while she was still pregnant with Archie back in 2019.
Because of the content in his book, including his thoughts on Prince William's anger issues and his perception of Kate Middleton as a Stepford wife, Scobie has decided to pack his bags and relocate to Los Angeles for the time being.
Angela Levin, who has close ties to sources close to the Sussexes, revealed in an interview with GB News that Scobie is currently living in seclusion in Los Angeles.
She mentioned that he doesn't seem to mind the severed ties with the royal family and intends to continue writing fictional stories, something he has been doing for some time now.
Levin further explained that Scobie will no longer be focusing on the royals in his future work, as they have not granted him access to their inner circle.
It is understandable that they do not want him around after the way he portrayed them in his book.
Scobie's bridges have been burned due to his use of the book to criticize the royals as harshly as possible.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were already facing financial struggles when their alleged friend, Omid Scobie, worsened matters with his book.
Royal expert and author Gareth Russell expressed his opinion on the situation during an interview with GB News.
He highlighted how the explosive book came at an unfortunate time for the couple.
Referring to an article in the Hollywood Reporter that labeled Harry and Meghan as two of the biggest losers in Hollywood, Russell emphasized the damage it caused to their reputation.
Being listed as prominent losers in the showbiz industry in 2023 did them no favors in terms of generating interest, support, or donations for their organization, Archewell.
All of this is closely tied to the world of celebrities.
Russell added that “Endgame” came at a bad time for them, suggesting that it would have been in their best interest to shift away from the narrative.
Their prominence in headlines often stems from direct or indirect attacks on the royal family, and it is evident that this strategy is not working in terms of generating public sympathy.
