Meghan Markle’s Reaction to Kate Middleton at Platinum Jubilee Service Raises Eyebrows
Keen observers of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations have noticed an interesting interaction between Meghan Markle and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, as they both attended a service honoring Queen Elizabeth II's 70 years of service.
Despite not coming face to face during Friday's service of Thanksgiving, royal fans couldn't help but notice Meghan's apparent snub of Kate as she arrived at the Cathedral.
Eagle-eyed fans took to Twitter, sharing BBC's footage of the moment when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge entered the Cathedral.
One royal fan, Kitty, captioned the clip, “Did everyone notice the woman in the white hat, Meghan, turned her head to the left when the Duchess of Cambridge was walking past?”
Many other royal watchers quickly agreed, with one person commenting, “Yes, I did notice this,” while another added, “It's very obvious too.”
Another fan exclaimed, “Wow, it is obvious when you see it,” and yet another concurred, “Top spot.
She definitely turned away.”
During the service of Thanksgiving for the Platinum Jubilee, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle found themselves demoted to the second row at St Paul's Cathedral.
This visual placement was seen by GB News host Alastair Stewart as a snub from the royal family.
Royal biographer Angela Levin supported Stewart's claims, stating that the couple was absolutely furious about their seating arrangement.
Stewart explained, “They were in the second row, not behind the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge, but in the second row even behind people like the Wessex's.
He wouldn't be there if the Queen didn't want him to be there, but to me, it was a visual snub.
It was not a total snub.
They got the proper royal car and they were escorted down the aisle.”
Levin further emphasized that Harry and Meghan were visibly seething while seated in the second row.
She shared, “If you look at Harry's face, I spent a year with him when I did his biography.
He wears his expressions and feelings on his face, and he was absolutely furious.”
Adding to the discussion, Kinsey Schofield, founder of Tiddy for Daily and the Tiddy for Daily podcast, expressed her belief that Harry and Meghan's actions may lead their children to question why they were not included and feel disappointed by it.
Schofield also suggested that in the future, Archie and Lilibet might wonder why Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were front and center while they were hidden in the shadows.
Schofield stated, “I believe that one day Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and perhaps their children, will feel like they missed out on a huge opportunity.
The children will one day have access to information about this historic event, and they will see their lack of presence and might disagree with it or be disappointed by it.
Why were their cousins front and center, and they were hidden in the shadows?
They are within the line of succession.
People do love and celebrate royal babies.
They have earned their place within the mix.”
Furthermore, Schofield believes that Harry and Meghan already have regrets about some of their previous interviews but suspects that the royal family has not forgotten their actions.
She concluded, “I believe Harry and Meghan are already having regrets about their behavior.
The bitter couple that appeared on the Oprah interview would not have shown up for Jubilee.
But senior members of the royal family are not quick to forget.”
In conclusion, Meghan Markle's reaction towards Kate Middleton at the Platinum Jubilee service has sparked speculation and raised eyebrows among royal fans.
