Meghan Markle’s Obsession with Princess Diana: A Troubling Revelation
In a recent interview with GB News, Samantha, the half-sister of Meghan Markle, made some shocking claims about the Duchess of Sussex's apparent obsession with her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
According to Samantha, Meghan's behavior suggests a desire to evoke the tragic death of Diana, as well as portray herself as a victim.
Samantha highlighted various instances that she believes support her claims.
From wearing Diana's perfume on her first date with Prince Harry to mimicking Diana's every move in photographs, Meghan's alleged obsession seems to know no bounds.
Samantha even mentioned reports of Meghan channeling Diana by touching stones.
She also pointed out the Lifetime drama “Escaping the Palace,” which depicts Meghan's character dying in a manner similar to Diana's death.
Expressing her concern, Samantha stated, “I think all along there have been indicators, comments, remarks, complaints reaching out to evoke the death of Diana.”
She further suggested that Meghan and Harry often use Diana's memory for their convenience, particularly when they face obstacles or seek PR opportunities.
It is widely known that Meghan has shown admiration for Diana through her fashion choices.
Notably, Meghan wore one of Diana's favorite perfumes on her first date with Harry.
Additionally, childhood friends of Meghan have claimed that she was obsessed with Diana, even watching her wedding and funeral on VHS tapes, where she reportedly wept while witnessing William and Harry walking behind Diana's coffin.
Meghan's penchant for emulating Diana's style is also evident.
One striking example is Meghan's choice of attire during her appearance at the Invictus Games at The Hague, which closely resembled an outfit worn by Diana in her final photoshoot before her untimely demise.
Harry, in his memoir “Spare,” mentioned that Meghan was offered the Spencer tiara by his maternal aunt for their wedding.
He claimed that the edges of Meghan's veil were designed to match the scalloped edges of the Spencer tiara, but the Queen intervened and suggested using her own tiara instead.
However, it should be noted that Meghan would not have been allowed to wear the famous Spencer tiara, as it is held by their brother Charles, the head of the family.
Contrary to Harry's belief that his uncle and aunts approved of Meghan, author Tom Bauer revealed in his book “Revenge” that they actually held a different opinion.
According to Bauer, when Harry compared Meghan to his mother, the Spencers and William disagreed, stating that Meghan was nothing like Diana.
Adding to the controversy, Harry made alarming comments about the British press in the docuseries “The Me You Can't See.”
He claimed that the press would not rest until Meghan's death.
This series was released shortly after the Oprah interview, which exposed the toxic environment within the Sussexes' relationship with the royal family.
While Meghan's alleged obsession with Princess Diana raises eyebrows, it is important to approach these claims with caution.
Only time will tell if there is any truth behind Samantha's assertions.
As the public continues to follow the lives of Meghan and Harry, one thing remains clear: the fascination with Princess Diana's legacy is far from fading.
