Meghan Markle’s Journey to Love: From Fake Dates to Prince Harry
In the 2016 film “Date Us Hamburg,” Meghan Markle shared the screen with Christopher Palahar, and recently, he reminisced about their time together.
Palahar revealed that he had a wonderful experience working with Markle on the set of the movie.
They would have dinner together every night for three weeks, and Palahar even jokingly called his wife to inform her about their “fake date night.”
He shared that their interactions were limited to the filming period, which lasted for 15 days.
During their time together, Palahar expressed his concern about Markle's dating life.
He advised her to take some time for herself after her divorce and not rush into another relationship.
Although he didn't disclose the identity of the person she was dating at the time, it is known that Markle was romantically involved with chef Corey Vitiello during her stay in Toronto.
Vitiello was the first man she publicly dated after her divorce from Trevor Engelson in 2013.
However, rumors also linked Markle to golfer Rory McIlroy following her split from Engelson.
It seems that Markle took Palahar's advice to heart, as she later texted him to inform him that she was single.
The “Suits” star then updated him further when she met someone new.
In January, she messaged Palahar, stating that she had followed his advice and was now single and free to explore new possibilities.
And in March, she sent another message, revealing that she had met someone special.
When Palahar asked if she liked him, Markle replied that she kind of did.
Of course, that someone turned out to be Prince Harry.
According to Tom Bauer, author of the book “Revenge, Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors,” released in August, Markle was actively searching for a new partner before meeting Prince Harry.
Bauer claimed that Markle desired someone who could uplift her.
Interestingly, she was still living with Vitiello when she first encountered the royal prince.
Bauer detailed their living arrangement after Markle's introduction to Prince Harry.
Apparently, she made it clear to Vitiello that their affair was over, convinced that her future lay with Harry.
The separation between Markle and Vitiello was reportedly a relief for the Toronto-based chef, as their last moments together had been unpleasant.
Vitiello played a significant role in introducing Markle to a higher social class.
Through him, she gained access to a circle that included the son of a former Canadian prime minister and the global membership director of the exclusive private club, Soho House, Marcus Anderson.
This connection allowed Markle to transition from being an actress to becoming a socialite.
A source revealed that this shift enabled her to establish valuable connections and network with influential individuals and their influential wives.
Interestingly, it was through this new social circle that Markle met her close friend Jessica Mulroney.
Mulroney is married to Ben Mulroney, the son of former Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney.
Coming from a wealthy family, she is also the heiress to the famous Canadian shoe line, Brown Shoes Inc. Jessica Mulroney is a renowned fashion designer who has even designed outfits for Sophie Trudeau, the wife of the Canadian prime minister.
In essence, she is a highly affluent socialite.
An undisclosed source, familiar with the situation, commented on Markle's relationship with Vitiello during the filming of “Suits.”
