Meghan Markle’s Ex-Husband Celebrates New Arrival as Duchess Moves On
Meghan Markle's ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, has recently shared exciting news of his own.
The Hollywood producer, known for his marriage to the Duchess of Sussex from 2011 to 2013, announced on his private Instagram account that he and his wife, Tracy Coogland, have welcomed their second child together.
The couple named their baby girl Sienna Leigh Engelson.
In a heartfelt post, Trevor expressed his joy and gratitude, stating, “I don't know what I did right, but I'm the luckiest guy I know.
My wife is a gangster.”
This new addition joins their 15-month-old daughter, Ford Grace Engelson, making their family even more complete.
Trevor and Meghan's relationship began in 2004 and culminated in a marriage in 2011.
However, according to author Andrew Morton's book “Meghan, a Hollywood Princess,” Meghan unexpectedly ended their relationship and returned her wedding and engagement rings by mail.
Trevor was left feeling blindsided, describing himself as a discarded piece stuck to the bottom of her shoe.
Since their split, Trevor has moved on and found success in his career.
He currently works as an executive producer on the hit FX series “Snowfall” and the Netflix film “13 Minutes.”
Despite their past, many people have congratulated Trevor on his new arrival, highlighting the fortunate turn of events in his life.
Coincidentally, Trevor's newborn daughter shares a name with Princess Beatrice's first child, Sienna Elizabeth Moppeli-Mozzi, born on September 18.
Although the exact birth date of Trevor's Sienna is unconfirmed, he was spotted carrying her in a black car seat in Los Angeles.
Photos shared on his private Instagram account depict a proud father beaming over his baby, while Tracy cradles Sienna in her arms in a hospital bed.
This joyous announcement comes after Trevor previously shared the news of Tracy's pregnancy, expressing his excitement and anticipation for another addition to their family.
The couple's first child, Ford Grace, was born in August 2020.
Their marriage, however, endured only two years due to the strain caused by Meghan's rising fame and demanding schedule filming the TV series “Suits” in Toronto, Canada, while Trevor remained in Los Angeles.
Meghan ultimately decided to end their marriage, leading to their separation in 2013 and subsequent divorce in 2014.
Irreconcilable differences were cited as the reason for their split.
Meghan reportedly sent her wedding ring back to Trevor through the mail, marking the definitive end of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Meghan moved on and found love with Prince Harry, with whom she has welcomed their two-year-old son, Archie, and their newborn daughter, Lilibet.
As Trevor celebrates the arrival of his second child, he can reflect on the twists and turns of life, acknowledging that sometimes unexpected blessings come when we least expect them.
