At the highly anticipated Variety's Power of Women event in Los Angeles, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, outshone even the biggest A-listers as she confidently posed for the cameras.

The event, held at Citizens on Thursday night, celebrated the remarkable achievements of women in the entertainment industry and attracted a galaxy of stars.

This year's honorees included renowned names such as Carey Mulligan, Fantasia Barrino Lily Gladstone, and Billie Eilish, who also took the stage for a special performance of her hit song “What Was I Made For” alongside her brother, Phineas O'Connell.

The Lucky Chap co-founder, Margaret Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josie McCarmack were also set to receive the prestigious Producer of the Year award.

Additionally, Emily Blunt was slated to be honored with the Power of Women Alumni Award, presented by premier partner Wells Fargo.

Sources reveal that it was Oprah Winfrey who secured Meghan Markle's attendance at the event through WMS Demand.

While Meghan has been away from the entertainment scene for some time, questions arise as to why she was invited to such a star-studded ceremony.

It turns out that Meghan had actually purchased a seat for the event, showing her support for celebrating women in entertainment.

During the gala, it seemed that Meghan received a different kind of treatment compared to other attendees.

Despite the fact that many guests may not have recognized some of the women who aren't already A-listers in the industry, Meghan Markle appeared to be ignored and even pushed from the prime photography spot by other celebrities.

A video posted by Variety captured the moment when Meghan, wearing a stunning camel off-the-shoulder dress and sporting a sleek bun, kept posing for the cameras with a radiant smile.

Unintentionally obstructing the view of others, it seemed that guests extended their hands, seemingly trying to guide her away from the cameras.

Observers noted that Meghan seemed fully engrossed in stealing the limelight from other famous attendees.

This prolonged posing prompted one guest to take action, seemingly attempting to physically move her from the stage.

It was an awkward moment amidst the glamorous event, where many guests were capturing photos with each other.

Surprisingly, Meghan found herself without any companions for these snapshots, except for Janet Yang, the past president of Payne and chairman of Universal Studio Group.

The two shared a table, and Meghan approached them to take a photo together.

Additionally, Meghan had her personal photographer present, and it was agreed that the clearest photos would be sold to the media.
