Meghan Markle Shunned by Billionaire Ken Griffin at Concert
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly seen mingling with billionaire Ken Griffin and super networker Michael Kives during their recent trip to Las Vegas.
The Sussexes spokesperson released this rumor, stating that the couple attended Katy Perry's closing concert at the Resorts World Theatre on Saturday.
Both Prince Harry and Meghan were spotted in the audience during the show.
It had previously been suggested that they were accompanied by oil company heir Michael Hurd and entrepreneur Whitney Wolfe on the trip.
Now, it has been revealed that they also spent time with investors Griffin and Kives.
During the concert, Griffin was seated next to Prince Harry.
He is known as the founder of hedge fund Citadel and is estimated to be worth around $34 billion, according to Forbes.
CNBC News has referred to him as a major republican donor.
Kives, on the other hand, seemed to be sitting behind Prince Harry and Meghan.
He runs the investment firm K5 Global and was previously a talent agent for Creative Artists Agency (CAA), representing clients such as singer-songwriter Katy Perry.
However, a representative for Ken Griffin confirmed that his seating arrangement next to Prince Harry was purely coincidental.
It is worth noting that Griffin is part of a group bidding to buy the Telegraph, as reported by New Report.
The American billionaire is currently in talks to help fund a transatlantic takeover bid for the newspaper led by fellow hedge fund manager Sir Paul Marshall.
While it was coincidental for Ken Griffin, it seems Meghan had made arrangements to sit next to him.
An insider revealed that WME, the talent agency Meghan joined, had purchased the seats and knew who would be sitting around them.
The insider also mentioned that it was interesting to witness the conversation between Ken Griffin and Prince Harry.
Harry apparently tried to engage in a discussion with Griffin, as Meghan's husband has shown interest in censorship and press reform through his involvement with the Aspen Institute.
In another interesting development, Ken Griffin has joined the owner of GB News in a bid for the Telegraph.
Additionally, Stanford University is facing criticism for its partnership regarding election integrity.
Prince Harry participated in a panel discussion alongside a representative from the Stanford Internet Observatory.
During the concert, Prince Harry was also accused of being rude when he asked Ken Griffin about the value of his mansions, similar to a comment made by Kevin Costner's character in the movie “Friends with No Manners.”
Harry inquired whether the combined worth of Griffin's properties exceeded $150 million and even asked if he owned a beach house.
These remarks were seen as inappropriate and lacking in business etiquette.
It appears that Meghan Markle had requested Harry to sit next to Misha, allowing her to sit beside Ken Griffin.
She wanted the opportunity to chat with the billionaire, but Harry refused, preferring to have a man beside him for comfort and conversation.
Critics argue that Meghan joined WME, the talent agency, simply to gain access to wealthy individuals whom she can manipulate and use to her advantage.
They believe that the couple's attempts to associate themselves with billionaires only make them appear desperate and pathetic.
Some suggest that if they had remained discreet millionaires within their circle of friends, they could have maintained a sense of class.
