Meghan Markle Parties in LA While Prince Harry Stays Home
While the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Beatrice and her husband, attend the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan, Meghan Markle is reportedly leaving Prince Harry at home as she enjoys the party scene in Los Angeles.
According to society journalist Patronella Wyatt, Meghan has been frequently spotted without her husband in the City of Angels.
Wyatt took to Twitter to share, “Friends of mine who live near them are always bumping into Meghan at parties these days.
She tends to leave Harry at home.”
However, Meghan's solo outings have not gone unnoticed, and Hollywood broadcaster Tim Dillon did not hold back his criticism.
He referred to the Sussexes as low-grade reality stars and singled out Meghan for trying to gain favor by cozying up to celebrities.
Dillon shared his experience at a recent party, saying, “I was at a party the other night talking to someone about these people, and it's just constant with them.
Meghan was texting the person that I was there with.
The point is, they just won't stop.
They're like low-grade reality stars trying to attach to anything.
She's trying to get places.”
Despite the couple's efforts, Dillon mentioned that their ploy is not working, and most people find it rather amusing.
He jokingly stated, “I respect the hustle.
I get what they're trying to do.
A lot of people at this party were like, we text her back, she's a duchess, but we've had enough.”
Dillon's comments were made on his show, “They Come and Go,” on May 21st but have only recently come to light.
In January, a poll conducted by Newsweek revealed a significant decline in Harry and Meghan's popularity among the US public.
Harry's favorability dropped by 45 points in just one month, while Meghan's fell by 36 points.
This poll was conducted prior to the release of Harry's book, “Spare,” but after the debut of the Netflix documentary series last December.
Despite claims that the Sussexes will put an end to their public endeavors, royal experts believe they will continue producing Netflix shows, writing books, and giving interviews.
Sources quoted by The Sun suggest that the couple will move away from publishing memoirs and criticizing other royals on TV.
However, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams doubts these claims, stating that there is still much more the couple could share in print.
He believes there remains significant international interest in Harry and Meghan's activities and that they specialize in surprising their audience.
Fitzwilliams added, “They have a great deal more to say and will be considering how what they do will help the brand.”
A recent report in The Sun claimed that Harry and Meghan would cease writing memoirs and instead focus on fly-on-the-wall Netflix shows that critique the royal family while featuring behind-the-scenes footage.
Insiders shared that the couple has exhausted their material, with one source stating, “That period of their life is over, as there's nothing left to say.”
Prince Harry is known to have a four-book deal, with the final book rumored to be a self-help book.
As for Meghan, there is no official confirmation regarding her plans to share her side of the story or any release date for her next book.
