Meghan Markle Omitted from Suits Revival, Creator Confirms

Meghan Markle's absence from the upcoming Suits revival has been officially verified.

Aaron Korsh, the mastermind behind the show, has made it clear that Markle's character will not be featured in the new spin-off based in Los Angeles.

Korsh is currently immersed in developing a pilot and series treatment for NBC's Suits LA, a spin-off that will introduce a fresh ensemble of characters in a legal firm situated on the West Coast.

Despite speculations hinting at a potential return to acting for Prince Harry's spouse, she is currently not being considered for any roles in this new venture.

The show's creator is determined to ensure the success of this new iteration independently, especially after its remarkable performance on Netflix.

At the 11th Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Guild Awards in Beverly Hills, Rachel Harris, a close friend of Korsh and former actress on Suits, disclosed this information on camera.

Harris, known for her portrayal of Sheila Lace in the series as Lewis Litt's love interest, shared her insights exclusively.

She stated that upon learning about the Suits LA project, she naturally anticipated her involvement.

However, Korsh explicitly informed her that Meghan Markle would not be part of the cast for Suits LA.

Notably, Harris emphasized that Korsh had not even mentioned Markle's potential involvement to her, despite their close relationship and her notable roles in other popular shows like Lucifer and Goosebumps on Disney Plus.

The revelations continue with Patrick J. Adams, Meghan Markle's former co-star on Suits, expressing apprehension about communicating with the Duchess.

Adams, who played Michael Ross in the acclaimed legal drama that garnered significant online viewership, confirmed a complete lack of communication between them.

Despite sharing an on-screen romance with Meghan's character, Rachel Zane, for multiple seasons, Adams admitted to The Hollywood Reporter that there has been no contact between them.

This revelation is particularly striking considering that Meghan's other Suits co-stars, including Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty, were present at the Sussexes' wedding in 2018.
