Meghan Markle, the former actress and self-proclaimed Duchess of Sussex, encountered a challenging and embarrassing situation at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.

However, upon stepping onto the stage, she was met with a chorus of boos and jeers from the audience, signaling their lack of interest in hearing her perspective.

Some attendees went as far as displaying signs labeling Markle as deceitful and insincere, while others sported t-shirts emblazoned with phrases like “Team K” and “God Save the Queen.”

In a more aggressive display of disapproval, objects, including tomatoes, were hurled in her direction, narrowly missing her.

The predominantly royal family and British culture enthusiasts in the audience were clearly outraged by Meghan's recent actions and statements, particularly following her headline-making interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Despite the hostile environment, Meghan attempted to push through and deliver her speech, focusing on her children as sources of inspiration and motivation in her life.

She showcased photos of Archie and Lilbit on a large screen, purportedly taken by herself and Prince Harry at their Montecito residence.

However, the audience, having previously seen these images on social media platforms like the subreddit StMeghanMarkle, recognized discrepancies in the photos, including altered features, skin tones, and hair colors, as well as evident signs of digital manipulation.

As the crowd continued to voice their discontent, chanting phrases like “We want Kate!”

and “God save the King,” directed at Kate Middleton, Queen Elizabeth II, and King Charles, emotions ran high.

The audience's loyalty to the royal family and their disappointment in Prince Harry's choices were palpable, with many urging him to reconsider his relationship with Meghan and return to the United Kingdom.
