Meghan Markle Denounces Royal Family, Claims Prince Harry’s Jadedness as Motive for Seeking Compensation
Meghan Markle, who married Prince Harry in 2016, has recently spoken out against the royal family, accusing them of jadedness and seeking revenge.
According to a royal author, Meghan's introduction to royal life was far from smooth, largely due to Harry's disillusionment with his own royal upbringing.
When Meghan joined the royal family, she underwent extensive training to learn the rules and protocols that come with being a royal.
Similar to Kate Middleton, who received royal lessons upon marrying Prince William in 2011, Meghan also had her fair share of instruction.
In their book, “Finding Freedom,” authors Omid Scobie and Caroline Duran revealed that Meghan's lessons ranged from learning how to elegantly exit a chauffeured car while wearing a pencil skirt, to mastering the art of curtsying to higher-ranking family members.
Additionally, Meghan was taught how to handle difficult situations, such as kidnappings and negotiations with terrorists.
However, Meghan's introduction to the royal family was reportedly influenced by Harry's own disillusionment.
According to author Andrew Morton, Meghan's lessons about the royal family were colored by Harry's perspective.
He had already grown weary of royal life before Meghan came into the picture.
“She learnt what she learnt about the royal family from Harry,” Morton explained.
“Harry himself was quite jaded with the royal family even before this, so she's had a very rambunctious education into the royal world.”
Prince Harry himself has spoken about feeling trapped within the royal family.
Despite appearing content during his wedding, he later revealed his true feelings during an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
“I myself was trapped as well.
I didn't see a way out,” Harry confessed.
He expressed compassion for his father and brother, stating that they too are trapped and unable to leave.
In the docuseries “The Me You Can't See,” Harry further elaborated on his burnout, explaining how the royal family constantly piled responsibilities onto him, leading to exhaustion.
In early 2020, Meghan and Harry made the decision to step down as senior royals and relocate to California.
They now strive for financial independence, running their own charitable foundation, Archewell, while engaging in various content production ventures.
During their interview with Oprah Winfrey, the couple made shocking revelations about their time within the royal family.
One particularly alarming claim was Meghan's assertion that someone within the family had expressed concerns about how dark their son Archie's skin would be.
Although they refused to disclose the person's identity, citing potential damage, the couple's accusations sent shockwaves through the palace.
After a day of silence, the palace finally responded to the claims, expressing sadness and vowing to address the issues privately as a family.
They also acknowledged that there may be discrepancies in recollections.
Since their move to California, Prince Harry has made two brief visits to the UK this year, attending his grandfather's funeral in April and the unveiling of a statue honoring Princess Diana in July.
Meghan, however, has not returned to England since 2020, choosing to remain in California with their children during her husband's visits.
Meghan Markle's denouncement of the royal family and her claims of Prince Harry's jadedness have sparked widespread debate and speculation.
As the world eagerly awaits further developments, the couple continues to navigate their new life in California, far removed from the confines of royal tradition.
