Meghan Markle Attends Netflix Event with Filmmaker Friend Misan

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, made an appearance at a Netflix tastemaker event in Montecito, California on November 15th.

Joining her was her close friend Misan Harriman, a professional photographer turned filmmaker.

Interestingly, Misan recently made headlines for photoshopping an image of Lilibet's birthday, creating the illusion that they were in Windsor when they were actually in California surrounded by old furniture.

The Netflix event was held to celebrate Misan's film “The After,” and it seemed to involve a lively discussion between Meghan, Misan, and actor David Oyelowo.

Meghan looked stunning in a brown structured blazer from Valentino Garavani's spring-summer 2022 collection.

She paired it with a knitted brown turtleneck top and a satin skirt of the same shade.

Notably, Meghan chose not to wear her engagement ring but instead sported her Welsh gold wedding band, a diamond eternity band, and a Lorraine Schwartz emerald cut diamond pinky ring.

Oyelowo, who stars in “The After,” directed by Misan Hariman, is currently streaming on Netflix.

It is likely that Meghan's presence at the event was part of the promotional efforts for the film.

Royal fans have speculated that Meghan may have joined the event as a last-minute surprise.

David Oyelowo's career was kick-started thanks to the Prince's Trust.

It seems that Meghan may still be disappointed about not receiving an invitation to other high-profile Netflix events.

She was not seen at “The Black Godfather” premiere in Los Angeles, nor at the Tastemaker event in West Hollywood, where Jamie Foxx, Ambassador Nicole Avant, and Pharrell Williams were in attendance.

In light of recent speculations, it is reported that Meghan Markle will never consider leaving her husband, Prince Harry.
