Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Face Growing Criticism as Allegations Mount
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are facing increasing backlash from both Britain and America, according to royal expert Charles Wray.
In a recent interview with GB News, Wray discussed the couple's future and expressed his concerns about their popularity following their recent visit to the UK.
“People in this country are getting more and more fed up with him, and from what I'm gathering, people in America are getting fed up with them as well,” Wray stated.
Anne Diamond, one of the presenters, added, “All they do is moan.”
Wray also mentioned a book called “Courtiers” written by Valentine Lowe, a respected royal correspondent with 25 years of experience.
The book compiles various allegations made against Meghan Markle, including claims of bullying.
Wray highlighted that there was supposed to be a palace investigation into these allegations, but it was ultimately put on hold, allegedly to avoid upsetting Meghan.
The book provides detailed accounts of the alleged incidents, some of which are described as appalling.
One particular incident mentioned in the book occurred during a royal tour in Australia when Meghan reportedly complained about not being paid for her public appearances.
Wray criticized her lack of understanding regarding the expectations and responsibilities of working within the royal family.
Another revelation from the book suggests that Meghan and Harry had hoped to reside in Windsor Castle but were instead given Frogmore Cottage.
Lady Elizabeth Anson, a close friend of the Queen who passed away in 2020, claimed that the Queen chose to gift them the cottage as a gesture of generosity.
Lady Elizabeth emphasized the significance of the cottage to the Queen, stating, “It is essentially her backyard, her solitude, and her privacy.
She was giving that up in gifting Harry and Meghan Frogmore Cottage.”
The strained relationship between the Sussexes and other members of the royal family has been widely reported over the past few years.
Since their move to the US, Harry and Meghan have been critical of their life in the UK during interviews with American media.
The recent passing of the Queen brought the family together, as Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince Harry mourned her loss and attended her funeral alongside their wives.
However, the tensions within the family remain.
As the allegations against Meghan Markle continue to mount, it remains to be seen how this will impact the couple's public image and future endeavors.
The scrutiny from both sides of the Atlantic suggests that their popularity may be waning, leaving many wondering what lies ahead for Meghan and Harry.
