Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s Shared Taste in Shoes at Commonwealth Day Service
Ever since Meghan Markle's engagement to Prince Harry, comparisons between her and her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton have been abundant.
From their fashion choices to their personalities, every aspect has been scrutinized side by side.
However, it appears that amidst their differences, the two women share a common taste in shoes.
This similarity was evident at the Commonwealth Day service held at Westminster Abbey.
In numerous photos, the navy heels worn by both women appeared strikingly similar, leading many to believe that they had intentionally coordinated their footwear for the occasion.
However, it turns out that their shoes were actually different.
Meghan opted for a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels, priced at £450, while Kate chose her trusty Rupert Sanderson Mallory pumps, a familiar sight we've seen her in on several occasions.
Despite the distinction, social media users couldn't resist making jokes about the matching shoes.
It seems that even when unintentional, these two women manage to create a buzz around their fashion choices.
Apart from their shoe selection, Meghan Markle donned a pristine white Amanda Wackley coat worth £895, complemented by a matching hat crafted by milliner Stephen Jones.
She completed her ensemble with a £550 Mulberry shoulder strap bag, perfectly coordinated with her navy dress.
On the other hand, Kate opted for her Bula London coat and dress, which we last saw her wearing at the Afghanistan Service of Commemoration back in 2015 when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte.
