This similarity was evident at the Commonwealth Day service held at Westminster Abbey.

In numerous photos, the navy heels worn by both women appeared strikingly similar, leading many to believe that they had intentionally coordinated their footwear for the occasion.

However, it turns out that their shoes were actually different.

Meghan opted for a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels, priced at £450, while Kate chose her trusty Rupert Sanderson Mallory pumps, a familiar sight we've seen her in on several occasions.

Despite the distinction, social media users couldn't resist making jokes about the matching shoes.

Apart from their shoe selection, donned a pristine white Amanda Wackley coat worth £895, complemented by a matching hat crafted by milliner Stephen Jones.

She completed her ensemble with a £550 Mulberry shoulder strap bag, perfectly coordinated with her navy dress.
