Meghan Forces Harry to Postpone Birthday Party to Clash with William’s New York Trip Schedule
Prince Harry was forced to postpone his 39th birthday party by two days in order to clash with Prince William's New York trip schedule, according to sources close to the palace.
The Prince of Wales, who founded the Earthshot Prize in 2020, will be attending the second Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit in New York City on September 19th.
The summit, co-hosted by the Earthshot Prize and Bloomberg Philanthropies, will take place during New York Climate Week and the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
During his two-day trip to the Big Apple, Prince Charles will meet with the 15 finalists of the 2023 Earthshot Prize, who are leading the way in developing climate solutions to heal our planet.
The summit will also include various meetings and engagements.
It is worth noting that the Prince had originally planned to attend the first summit in September of last year but had to cancel due to the passing of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
While Prince Charles will be traveling alone to New York City on September 18th, it is expected that his wife, the Princess of Wales, will join him in Singapore for the finals in November.
However, there are no plans for a meeting between Prince Charles and Prince Harry during this trip.
The question arises: what schemes will the Sussexes come up with in September or November to divert attention from Prince William?
Let us not forget that America, particularly New York City, is considered Sussex territory.
Last year, when the Earthshot Prize was held in Boston, Meghan received her Chalk Ripple award while wearing a white bath towel in New York City, making any further displays unnecessary.
This time around, there doesn't seem to be any major events on the horizon for the Sussexes, unless the Hollywood Critics Association decides to hold their prize-giving ceremony at a local Hilton hotel and Meghan happens to win.
Even then, it is uncertain if Meghan will attend.
So, can we expect paparazzi photos to be released at the very least?
Or will Meghan attempt to tail Prince William in a near-catastrophic car chase in Manhattan?
According to a source from Montecito, Harry's birthday falls on September 15th, but Meghan insisted on postponing the celebration to the 19th, coinciding with William's visit to America.
However, it remains to be seen if guests will be willing to attend Harry's birthday party, as it appears that not many people are interested.
Another source suggests that Prince William should be cautious to avoid any near-catastrophic high-speed chases while in New York.
But will Meghan and Harry make another trip to the city and attempt to enter the UN building with folders and binders, visit a black-owned restaurant promising a donation, or deliver an inspirational speech to a local group of women at a nearby Marriott?
The possibilities seem endless.
However, it is worth noting that returning to a city where they have been accused of lying might not be the wisest move for the Sussexes.
New York City may not be their biggest fan, as even the mayor and chief of police had to publicly call them out.
It seems that their preferred hotel also refuses to accommodate them.
So, one must wonder why they would choose to go back at all.
