Meghan and Harry’s Netflix Deal in Jeopardy After Awkward Encounter at Beyoncé Concert

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's $100 million deal with Netflix is reportedly on shaky ground following an uncomfortable incident at a recent Beyoncé concert.

The couple, who have been trying to build their brands since stepping away from the Royal Family, have faced criticism for their Netflix series and Harry's memoir, which sparked controversy by airing their grievances against the monarchy.

The Spotify podcast deal also came to an abrupt end after just one season of Meghan's Archetypes podcast.

Bill Griffiths, Spotify's head of podcast innovation, labeled the couple as “Grifters,” while they have been dubbed Hollywood's biggest losers.

PR expert Mark Bowski expressed his concerns, stating that the content the Sussexes want to produce may not hold value for the platforms they are targeting.

“They have to produce something that's meaningful, that captures their values.

But unfortunately, people don't want that,” Bowski said.

“People want the sidebar of shame, sort of stuff and turning up moaning and shouting and being disruptive on Meghan.”

The couple's attempt to establish themselves in the entertainment industry seems to be faltering.

Despite appearing on red carpets and premieres, Meghan and Harry have struggled to make a significant impact.

The high-minded values they promote have failed to deliver the desired results, leaving them in need of financial success.

Recently, their Netflix contract came under scrutiny after a meeting with the CEO of Netflix, Ted Sandoz, at the Beyoncé concert.

Meghan managed to secure a spot in the same box as Sandoz and his wife Nicole, alongside other celebrities such as Kris Jenner, Jeff Bezos, Kim Kardashian, and more.

However, according to a report by Scandalous Media, Sandoz and his wife asked security to remove Meghan from their section, claiming she wasn't personally invited.

“Meghan loves to hate crash,” a source revealed.

“She doesn't know how to act around A-listers and comes off as a fangirl.

In Hollywood, you have to fake it till you make it because it's a shark pool.

If anyone smells desperation, it's over for you.”

This incident has raised concerns about the future of Meghan and Harry's Netflix deal, which is set to expire in 2025.

There are speculations that it may be terminated sooner, especially after the negative portrayal of Harry in the final season of the hit series “The Crown.”

In the show, Harry is depicted as a slimy, unintelligent, drug-abusing brat, while his brother William is portrayed as a shrewd international heartthrob.

Royal expert Angela Levin believes that Harry will be particularly upset by a scene in which King Charles tells his sons about their mother's tragic death in a Paris car crash.

Levin noted that Harry had previously stated in his memoir, “Spear,” that his father didn't comfort him during that difficult time.

However, the show chose to depict a different narrative, emphasizing Charles' affection towards his son.

It remains to be seen how this recent incident and the portrayal of Harry in “The Crown” will impact Meghan and Harry's relationship with Netflix.

With their deal hanging by a thread, the couple will need to reassess their approach if they want to secure their place in the entertainment industry.
