Meghan and Harry’s Daughter Lilibet Celebrates First Birthday with Heartfelt Messages from Royal Family
The youngest child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Lilibet, had her first birthday recently, and although no photos of the one-year-old were shared, the royal family made sure to send their heartfelt messages.
This comes as a surprise, as the royal family is known for their candid birthday photos.
Lilibet, who was affectionately named after her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, had never met her until now.
Due to being born during the Covid pandemic and residing in America, she hasn't had many opportunities to spend time with her extended family.
In place of physical presence, Lilibet received sweet messages from her grandparents, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, who wished her a very happy first birthday with a birthday cake emoji.
Her uncle and aunt, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, also penned a heartfelt message to their niece, expressing their wishes for a joyful birthday, accompanied by a balloon emoji.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been issued a warning regarding the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Duncan Larkham, author of “Prince Harry, The Inside Story,” stated that the couple is at risk of being cut off by the firm if they leak any information about the momentous occasion in their Netflix documentary series or through Prince Harry's upcoming book.
While the royal family has extended an olive branch, the future of their relationship depends on the couple's behavior moving forward.
They must prove that they can be trusted.
Writing for Closer magazine, Larkham emphasized the tension, awkwardness, and weariness that may have existed behind the scenes during the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
He highlighted the fact that trust has been broken, making Harry and Meghan's presence problematic.
However, their recent visit to the UK and attendance at the Jubilee events have helped them reestablish themselves as royals, which is beneficial for their brand and the platforms they are associated with, such as Spotify, Netflix, and Penguin.
During their visit, Meghan and Harry mainly stayed out of the spotlight, attending a Thanksgiving service for the Queen at St Paul's Cathedral.
This marked their first public appearance together in Britain since stepping back from their royal duties.
While their two young children, Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana, did not make a public appearance, they are believed to have had a special lunch with the Queen.
Larkham acknowledged the extension of an olive branch by the royal family, but cautioned that any private information about the weekend leaked to the press or revealed in a book would ruin the progress made.
He described this as the couple's last chance saloon, stating that if anything from the weekend were to leak, Meghan and Harry would likely be completely cut off from the royal family.
Currently, Meghan and Harry have returned to the US with their children, and it remains unknown when they plan to visit the UK again.
As they navigate their future, their actions and decisions will play a crucial role in determining the trajectory of their relationship with the royal family.
