Meghan and Harry’s Christmas Invitation to Sandringham: Will the Royals Welcome Them?

Despite expressing their willingness to accept a Christmas invitation to Sandringham, there are doubts whether Harry and Meghan will receive a warm welcome from the royal family.

Insiders reveal that following reports of the Sussexes being open to reconciliation, there has been an unexpected show of affection from the monarchy.

This sudden change in tone has led observers to note that the Sussexes seem to be doubling down on their reconciliation strategy.

The Daily Mail reported an insider's perspective, questioning the couple's decision to behave poorly, demand apologies, and admit guilt unsuccessfully, only to now suggest they'll return if invited.

It is worth noting that the couple had received invitations from both and to join the family at Balmoral in the summer but chose not to visit since 2018.

The timing of their expressed interest in a Christmas invitation raises questions.

Speculation arises as to whether their sudden interest is linked to challenges in their commercial deals, such as Spotify, and recent ridicule they faced in the U.S. on shows like South Park and Family Guy.

Some sources suggest that the Sussexes might be reconsidering their strategy of portraying royal life as awful.

However, any potential invitation may not sit well with other senior royals, particularly Prince Charles, given the strained relationship between him and his younger brother.

Reportedly, is tired of the ongoing drama involving the Sussexes and is hesitant to extend invitations.

These claims surfaced following the leak of details from a private birthday conversation between the king, , and Meghan, adding more complexity to their already strained relationship.

Buckingham Palace chose not to comment on the private call, but sources close to the king described it as a turning point in the relationship.

The king is reportedly frustrated that personal issues overshadow public duties, preferring the focus to be on his work rather than private family dynamics.

Speaking to GB News hosts Andrew Pearce and Beth Turner, an expert commented on the leaked phone call, “We know that the king was actually quite disappointed that the private phone call he had with Harry on the king's 75th birthday was yet again leaked to the press.

He's trying very much to have the focus on his public life, and whilst, of course, as a loving father, he is very happy to have a conversation with his estranged son, he wasn't the one who was leaking this to the press.”

The expert continued, remarking on the change in dynamics, “How far we've come in all of this.

Remember Harry's arrogant demand that the royal family apologize and acknowledge their guilt for their treatment.

Now we have seen the opposite of it all.

Pride comes before a fall.

The king has actually stood his ground throughout all of this quite wisely, and in the end, it's who has made a humiliating climb down.”

Further emphasizing the impact of leaked information within a family, the expert added, “Let's just put this into everyday human context.

Imagine waging war on your family for years, trashing your family and revealing private conversations behind their back to everybody.

They're causing your ailing grandmother untold anguish in her final months, undermining, attacking your father, humiliating and demeaning his wife at the very most delicate and sensitive moment in their own lives.

As well as generally doing everything possible to hog the limelight and cast a shadow over the most important family event for 17 years.”

As the Christmas season approaches, the question remains whether Harry and Meghan will receive an invitation to Sandringham.
