is expected to pay tribute to her grandmother, the Queen, by naming her baby girl after her.

According to bookmakers William Hill, Elizabeth is the frontrunner for the name of Beatrice and Edoardo Moppelli Mozzi's first child, with odds at 5-1.

The royal couple welcomed their little girl on Saturday, who now holds the 11th spot in line to the throne and is the Queen's 12th great-grandchild.

Rupert Adams, spokesperson for William Hill, revealed, “Initially, Florence was the top choice at 9-1 odds.

However, there has been a significant shift towards naming her daughter after the Queen.

Elizabeth has now become a red-hot favorite, with odds halving from 10-1 to 5-1 in the past 24 hours.”

Arabella, previously at 13-1 odds, has also gained some support, currently standing at 11-1.

Choosing Elizabeth as the baby's name would be a touching gesture to Beatrice's grandmother, undoubtedly bringing joy to royal enthusiasts.

It's worth noting that Beatrice already shares Elizabeth as one of her middle names.

Twitter users have been speculating about the other potential names, with WolfieGirl99 commenting, “We all know Elizabeth and or Philippa is in there somewhere.

The rest is anyone's guess.”

Another user, JTB30, predicted that Beatrice might honor her mother, the Duchess of York, by including Sarah in the name.

Meanwhile, SclaresCastle suggested the name AlexandrinaElizabethPhilippa.

Earlier this year, and named their daughter , after the Queen's childhood nickname.

However, a royal expert claims that the Queen was not asked but informed about the name choice.

Giles Brandreth weighed in on the debate during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.

Responding to host Susannah Reid's question about the dispute, he said, “This should be a storm in a teacup.

The issue is whether the Queen was asked or told by Harry and Meghan.

Regardless, she obviously agreed because she is a decent and loving grandmother.”

As for Beatrice's royal baby, Ladbrokes has Elizabeth at 7-1 odds.

Currently, the bookmaker's favorite name is Arabella, with odds at 3-1, followed by Matilda at 4-1 and Florence at 9-1-2.

Jessica O'Reilly of Ladbrokes noted, “Punters are convinced that Beatrice and Edo's daughter will have an Italian-inspired name, and the money suggests it might be baby Arabella.”

Buckingham Palace officially announced the arrival of Beatrice's daughter on Monday.

In a statement, the palace shared, “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Moppeli-Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 23:42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.

The baby weighs six pounds and two ounces.

Both the new baby's grandparents and great-grandparents have been informed and are thrilled with the news.

The family extends their gratitude to the hospital staff for their exceptional care.

Mother and baby are both doing well, and the couple looks forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Wolfe.”

Beatrice is already a stepmother to Mr. Moppeli-Mozzi's son from a previous relationship, Wolfie.

Additionally, her younger sister, , welcomed a baby boy named August in February.

The sisters will undoubtedly cherish the experience of being first-time mothers together and having their children close in age.

Beatrice and Mr. Moppeli-Mozzi tied the knot in a secret wedding during the lockdown in July 2020.

The princess has since left the hospital with her newborn, ready to embark on this new chapter of motherhood.
