Meg Green Envious as Eninful Congratulates Catherine on Her First Oscar Win, Inspiring Queen

In a stunning turn of events, 's photograph has won the prestigious cover of the year award from the Professional Publishers Association of the UK.

The captivating image, featuring Queen , graced the front page of British magazine Country Life last summer.

This announcement has left the Duchess of Sussex, Meg Green, feeling a tinge of envy.

The PPA Awards, often dubbed the “Oscars of the magazine world,” recognized Country Life's cover as the standout winner.

The winning image was featured in the July 13th, 2022 issue, which was guest-edited by Her Majesty the Queen during her tenure as the Duchess of Cornwall.

The magazine took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement and give a special shout-out to Princess Kate.

Expressing their gratitude, the Country Life team acknowledged all those who voted for them, emphasizing that this award is the only one directly decided by the readers.

They also extended their appreciation to Catherine, the Princess of Wales, for her exceptional photography skills.

The judges on the PPA site commented that 's cover became the fastest-selling issue in the history of Country Life.

Renowned former British Vogue editor Edward Eninful took to his Instagram story to congratulate Catherine, hailing her as the most inspiring queen ever.

Eninful, who himself won the 2020 PPA Editor of the Year award, has been vocal in his admiration for the princess.

He previously praised Kate when she graced the cover of British Vogue's centenary edition, commending her graceful growth and influential style.

Eninful's connection with royalty extends beyond Kate.

He counts , Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Sophie Countess of Wessex, and Kate as active patrons of the British fashion industry.

However, he abruptly severed ties with Duchess Meghan following a failed collaboration between the two.

Meghan was accused of plagiarizing the cover design from the book “The Game Changers,” which she had been involved in producing.

The cover of Vogue's issue, titled “Forces for Change,” bore a striking resemblance to the grid cover of 15 inspirational women featured in Brett and Steph Adams' “The Game Changers,” published three years prior.

Last summer, Camilla was invited to guest-edit a special edition of Weekly magazine to commemorate her 75th birthday on July 17th.

During discussions about potential cover images, Country Life's editor, Mark Hedges, turned to the Duchess of Cornwall for suggestions.

Without hesitation, Camilla expressed her desire for Catherine to take on the task.

Initially perplexed, Hedges pondered over professional photographers named Catherine before realizing that the Duchess meant Kate.

He described the request as one of the most amazing things and readily agreed.

Clarence House also released a behind-the-scenes snapshot of Kate fully engrossed in her work, with her hair tied back in a ponytail and a camera in her hands.

The recognition of 's photography skills and the triumph of Country Life's cover at the PPA Awards have undoubtedly left Meg Green feeling envious.

However, this achievement is a testament to Kate's talent and the enduring appeal she holds as a member of the royal family.

Her ability to connect with people through her style and grace continues to inspire many.
