This will be the Queen's first Christmas without her beloved husband Prince Philip, who passed away in April at the age of 99.

According to a source, the Queen's Christmas plans are currently scheduled to proceed, but they will be reviewed until the last moment.

The party has been relocated from Buckingham Palace to Windsor, where the Queen currently resides.

An insider revealed that the Queen is determined not to let anything disrupt such an important family event.

The Queen has already recorded her Christmas Day address for television after ITV cameras visited Windsor Castle several weeks ago.

Last month, the Queen assured her family that she is well enough to host Christmas at Sandringham after recovering from a back sprain.

She expressed her improved condition and excitement for the traditional festive gathering at her Norfolk estate.

Concerns for the Queen's health have been heightened in recent months following her withdrawal from several major engagements.

Her Majesty had been resting under doctor's orders at Windsor Castle after sustaining an injury last month.

Additionally, in October, she spent a night in the hospital for an undisclosed condition.

During their first Christmas together with baby Archie, Harry and Meghan opted to spend the festive period at a luxury Canadian lodge on Vancouver Island instead of joining the rest of the royal family at Sandringham.

Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, were accompanied by Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, who briefly lived with the couple when they first brought Archie, now seven months old, home to Frogmore Cottage.

Locals reported sightings of Harry and Meghan jogging in the Canadian town of North Saanich and hiking in Horthill Regional Park on Vancouver Island.
