Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor: The Future of the Alternative Royal Family
In the realm of Hollywood, whispers abound about Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor, the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and her potential role as the face of the contemporary dynasty.
While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have chosen to keep their children's upbringing under wraps, industry insider Sandro Manetti predicts that this will change as the children grow older.
Currently residing in Montecito, California, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are raising their two children, Archie and Lilibet, away from the prying eyes of the public.
However, Manetti suggests that as the children mature, the family may relocate to more bustling areas of the state, such as Los Angeles County, Malibu, or Bel Air.
In doing so, Lilibet could potentially become not only the most famous person in California but also in America, as she holds the distinction of being the only princess born in the Golden State.
The issue of titles for the Sussex children has been a contentious one.
While some anticipated that they would inherit prince and princess titles, the official royal family website currently refers to them as Master Archie Harrison and Miss Lilibet Diana.
The final decision on their titles remains uncertain and may hinge on the resolution of tensions within the House of Windsor.
Despite their departure from the royal family, Manetti asserts that the Duke and Duchess are forging their own alternative royal family in the United States.
They may have stepped away from their official roles, but they still possess the titles that come with their lineage.
This concept of an alternative royal family has been a topic of discussion, with Angela Levin, author of “Harry, Conversations with the Prince,” suggesting that Meghan and Harry are striving to create a more socially conscious monarchy.
Critics have accused Meghan and Harry of airing their grievances with the royal family too publicly, prompting questions about why they have not renounced their titles.
In response, Prince Harry has stated that relinquishing their titles would not alter the situation.
Since their departure, the couple has made efforts to protect the privacy of their children.
However, they did offer a glimpse into their lives in Montecito by releasing home video footage in December 2022.
The footage showcased Meghan gardening with the children, Harry sharing his love for birdwatching with Archie, and Meghan guiding Lilibet's first steps.
In one of the clips, Harry emphasized that Montecito is their home, and it is where Archie and Lilibet are growing up.
While the couple has returned to the UK on a few occasions, they have only brought their children along once.
Now, the question arises: What are your thoughts on this news?
