Lady Louise Windsor Steals the Show at Trooping the Colour Ceremony

Lady Louise Windsor, the Queen's youngest grandchild, made quite a stir as she took part in the traditional carriage ride during the Trooping the Colour ceremony.

This marked the beginning of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

For the occasion, Lady Louise borrowed her mother's hat and looked elegant in a Philip Treacy hat and a vibrant pink floral dress.

The 18-year-old completed her ensemble with delicate pink earrings.

Accompanied by her parents and her brother, Lady Louise traveled in a carriage down the Mall before making an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Lady Louise's pink outfit perfectly matched her mother Sophie's summery pink gingham outfit and hat.

James, on the other hand, looked smart in a black suit, while wore military dress uniform.

Later in the afternoon, Lady Louise joined her parents and other senior royals on the balcony at Buckingham Palace to witness a spectacular flypast.

Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn, are among the exceptions to the Queen's rule that working royals should appear on the balcony for major moments.

Despite not holding HRH titles, the children of the Earl and Countess of Wessex rarely attend royal engagements.

Alongside Prince George, , and , they will be part of the group gathered on the balcony, even though they are not considered senior working members of the royal family.
