In a strategic move to solidify his future plans, King Charles III has tactfully assigned significant royal responsibilities to his favored royals, Princess Anne and Princess Sophie, especially in light of Catherine's absence.

Buckingham Palace made a noteworthy announcement on Tuesday, confirming that Princess Anne and the Duchess of Edinburgh will jointly host a reception at the palace on behalf of His Majesty to commemorate the anniversary of the Forgotten War.

The anniversary was also acknowledged during a recent state visit by the Korean delegation to the UK in November 2023.
