**Kate Middleton’s Tribute: Keeping Queen Elizabeth’s Jewelry Legacy Alive**

, the Duchess of Cambridge, continues to pay homage to the late by adorning herself with a stunning collection of jewelry that once belonged to the monarch.

, who would have turned 98 tomorrow, amassed a remarkable array of jewelry pieces over the years through acquisitions, gifts, and inheritances.

She had a close bond with Catherine, Princess of Wales, often lending her exquisite pieces for special occasions, showcasing the strong connection between them during the Queen's lifetime.

Following Queen Elizabeth's passing, Kate has taken it upon herself to preserve the monarch's memory by donning some of her most cherished treasures.

One such notable piece is an emerald necklace that made its debut in 1989 when Queen Elizabeth wore it to a dinner at Claridge's.

The necklace, part of a set that included earrings, a bracelet, and a ring, was believed to be a gift from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, given the occasion of a state visit.

During a 2022 dinner hosted by Patrick Allen, Governor-General of Jamaica, Kate wore the matching earrings and bracelet from the set, as part of the celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee during a royal tour of the Caribbean.

The jewelry set originally belonged to Princess Alexandra, who received it as a wedding gift from the Prince of Wales in 1863.

Apart from the necklace, the collection featured pearl and diamond earrings, a detachable pendant brooch, and a diamond tiara known as the rundle.

The fate of the rundle tiara remains uncertain after passing through generations, but the necklace, earrings, and brooch were inherited by Queen Mary, Alexandra's daughter-in-law.

Queen Elizabeth later acquired these pieces and often wore them on formal occasions.

Kate honored the Queen by selecting the necklace for a state banquet with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands at Buckingham Palace in 2018.

The elegant tiered pearl necklace, designed by Queen Elizabeth herself, exuded grace and sophistication, reflecting the Queen's timeless style.

Queen Elizabeth's pearls also made appearances on Kate during significant events, such as the Governor's General's Luncheon and the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

Additionally, Kate showcased the Greville chandelier earrings at the wedding of Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa in 2023.

Originally owned by Lady Margaret Greville and gifted to Queen Elizabeth by her parents, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, these exquisite earrings underwent modifications over the years, incorporating a variety of diamond cuts.

The Queen Mother, as Queen Elizabeth later became known, cherished the Greville earrings and wore them frequently after receiving them in 1947.

Despite initially being unable to wear them due to unpierced ears, Queen Elizabeth eventually had her ears pierced and flaunted the earrings with pride.

Another significant jewelry piece in Queen Elizabeth's collection was the diamond tiara necklace, a gift from her father, George VI, in 1950.

Crafted by Garrard using 105 dazzling diamonds, the necklace featured three strands of graduated stones suspended between two diamond triangles.

As continues to honor Queen Elizabeth's legacy through her choice of jewelry, she not only pays tribute to a remarkable monarch but also keeps alive the spirit of elegance and grace that defined the late Queen's reign.

The timeless beauty of these royal jewels serves as a reminder of a bygone era of regal splendor, encapsulating the rich history and heritage of the British monarchy.
