Jimmy Kimmel Set to Humiliate Meghan and Harry Again at 2024 Oscars

Bad news for and as Jimmy Kimmel prepares to host the Oscars for the fourth time, leaving the couple vulnerable to potential roasting on the red carpet.

The 96th Academy Awards, scheduled to take place on March 10, 2024, at the Dolby Theatre, will see the late-night comedian return as the host.

Kimmel previously helmed the ceremony in 2017, 2018, and 2023.

With his track record of hosting the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012, 2016, and 2020, Kimmel's presence has consistently boosted viewership, drawing nearly 19 million viewers last year, as reported by the New York Times.

This figure marked an increase from the previous year when Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, and Amy Schumer hosted and garnered 16.6 million viewers.

Despite the interruption caused by the WGA strike, which temporarily halted Kimmel's show along with other late-night programs, his return to television last month proved successful.

The season debut of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on October 2nd received its highest ratings in six years.

Kimmel's involvement in the Oscars not only ensures that Meghan and Harry will be absent from the red carpet but also raises the possibility of them being humiliated on stage.

At last year's Oscars, big names took the opportunity to roast and , even though the couple did not attend the event due to their preference for privacy.

While it remains uncertain whether they will be referenced during this year's prestigious ceremony, PR guru Matt Yanofsky suggests that Meghan and Harry are no longer untouchable in the United States.

South Park, a show deeply ingrained in pop culture, remains uncancellable and has a reputation for speaking the unspoken.

Recently, the comedy series Family Guy also took aim at Meghan and Harry, further exposing their vulnerabilities.

Jimmy Kimmel, known for his willingness to tackle controversial subjects, is likely to incorporate these materials into his performance.

Matt Yanofsky further commented on how Meghan and Harry might be received at the Oscars, noting that the audience tends to be out of touch with reality.

It is uncertain whether they will joke about the couple or continue mocking them in the years to come.

The outcome promises to be intriguing.

Despite their enduring fame, the couple's decision to label their children as prince and princess means that public attention will inevitably follow.

However, Matt pointed out that the majority of people attending the Oscars have worked tirelessly to achieve their success and have little patience for Meghan and Harry's constant complaints.

Furthermore, the couple's financial resources are insufficient to compensate for their indiscretions and personalities.

Hollywood prefers royals who stay within their designated roles, exemplified by Catherine and William, who prioritize representing the UK rather than seeking personal gain.

In contrast, Meghan and Harry arrived with high expectations and demands, but now find themselves in a diminished position.
