James Middleton and Alice Thevenet Welcome Their First Child: A Royal Cousin Arrives

James Middleton, the brother of Princess Catherine, has become a father for the first time as his wife, Alice Thevenet, gave birth to their first child.

The arrival of their newborn also means that the Prince and Princess of Wales' three children, Prince George, , and , now have a first cousin.

The new parents were recently spotted taking a stroll with their baby in London's Notting Hill, and it seems that James' sister, the Princess of Wales, has given them an extraordinary gift.

In pictures published on Thursday, James was seen pushing their little one in a navy silver-cross pram, while his wife walked beside him.

This pram is identical to the one Princess Catherine used when her son Prince George was a baby.

The silver-cross sleepover elegance is considered the Rolls-Royce of prams, featuring a quilted leatherette exterior, a super-snug pram liner, and a breathable mattress.

It's not the only silver-cross model owned by the Princess either.

At 's christening in 2015, she was seen pushing a 1,600-pound silver-cross Balmoral buggy in Sandringham, Norfolk.

James was dressed in navy chinos, brown boots, a green jacket, and a bright yellow scarf, while Alice opted for double denim with a blue shirt and jeans, paired with a brown suede coat and fur gilet.

The exact details and date of the baby's birth have been kept private, but it is believed that he or she was born in recent weeks.

On September 12th, James shared a picture of his pregnant wife to celebrate their anniversary, captioning it with “The best is yet to come.”

This new addition makes James and Alice's parents, Carol and Michael Middleton, proud grandparents of seven, as both Pippa and Catherine have three children each.

The Middleton family recently celebrated the second birthday of their nephew, Arthur, with the Princess of Wales.

It wouldn't be surprising if the Waleses and Pippa's family gathered to celebrate Arthur's big day in person.

As Lambrook breaks up for its two-week October half-term on Friday, it's also the start of the holidays for George, Charlotte, and Louis.

A family birthday party would be a wonderful way to kick off the school break.

Catherine and Pippa share a close bond and have remained tight-knit even after the royals moved away from London.

They were once neighbors when William and Catherine lived in Kensington Palace, and Pippa and James owned a luxurious mansion in Chelsea, West London.

After the royal couple relocated to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor last summer, Pippa and James followed suit, purchasing a country pad in Berkshire worth 15 million pounds.

With the two families just a 40-minute drive away from each other and the privacy offered by their country estates, meeting up away from the public eye is much easier.

Pippa is also conveniently located near her parents, Carol and Michael Middleton, who reside in their five-million-pound Buckleberry Manor.

Her decision to move to Berkshire was motivated by the desire to be closer to her family.

The birth of Arthur made William and Catherine proud uncle and aunt, and they released an official statement expressing their excitement for the new family.

In conclusion, James Middleton and Alice Thevenet have welcomed their first child, adding another member to the royal family.

The couple was seen enjoying a stroll with their newborn in London, accompanied by an incredible gift from James' sister, the Princess of Wales.
