Heart of Invictus Documentary Faces Uncertain Future: Netflix Cancels Premiere

Reports have emerged that the highly anticipated Heart of Invictus documentary, set to be released on Netflix this summer, has been abruptly cancelled.

The news comes as a blow to , who was heavily involved in the project.

However, before jumping to conclusions, let's delve into the facts and uncover what truly transpired.

The speculation surrounding the cancellation began when a tweet from Megan Small surfaced in early June.

According to her, Netflix axed the documentary due to 's alleged demands to turn it into a fashion show centered around herself, rather than focusing on the veterans.

Small argued that the money spent on Meghan could have been better allocated to support the veterans.

Moreover, she highlighted Harry's alleged mistreatment of family members of veterans, contrasting it with his enthusiasm for posing with his comrades when cameras were rolling.

Adding fuel to the fire, Tom Bauer, speaking on GV News, disclosed that Spotify had also cancelled their deal with , while Netflix was merely delaying the release of the Invictus documentary.

Although Spotify's decision seems firm, the status of the Netflix project remains uncertain.

To investigate further, I conducted a simple Google search to find any information related to Invictus on Netflix's homepage.

Surprisingly, I stumbled upon an interesting discovery.

It appeared that Netflix had reserved a webpage for the event, but clicking on the link led to nowhere.

This is a rare occurrence, as usually, if there are no references on Netflix's page, nothing would appear on Google either.

In this case, however, we encountered an empty page that had been deliberately deleted.

Curious, isn't it?

This situation is reminiscent of another project involving Meghan and Netflix, the animated series or movie called Pearl, which was ultimately scrapped from the schedule.

Animated productions are known to be time-consuming and costly, and it is likely that Netflix decided to cut their losses and focus on recouping their $100 million investment.

Perhaps they could consider a new miniseries titled “Bunker Harry and the Quest for the Call of Duty High Score,” a concept that would undoubtedly appeal to gamers like myself.

Returning to Heart of Invictus, it is worth noting that even dedicated websites that announce Netflix's upcoming shows have no mention of the documentary.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding its fate, one thing remains clear: the Invictus Games, the inspiration behind the documentary, is undeniably a commendable initiative, irrespective of personal opinions about Prince Harry.

Regardless of what happens with the documentary, let us hope that the veterans receive the exposure and recognition they deserve.

However, amidst this ambiguity, it is disconcerting to witness contradictory signals from various sources.

Newsweek, in an attempt to rectify the narrative and dispel misinformation, felt compelled to fact-check the cancellation claims.

Their justification?

Social media users, particularly a tweet from Megan's supposed mole.

The tweet, viewed over 1.5 million times, garnered significant attention.

Newsweek's extensive article eventually concluded that no official information regarding the show's cancellation had been released.

In fact, a Netflix representative confirmed that the January announcement still stood, assuring viewers that the documentary would grace screens in the coming months, albeit without an exact release date.

Ironically, Newsweek accompanied their article with a dial indicating the veracity of the claims, ranging from false to true.

This dial, while convenient, leaves much to be desired.

Personally, I should consider creating my own misinformation dial, although it seems destined to perpetually point towards porcupines.

Amidst this uncertainty, let us divert our attention to Prince Harry's recent appearances at the Warrior Games.

Analyzing his body language during these events provides intriguing insights.

In one image, we observe Harry leaning away from a gentleman, assuming an uncomfortable posture.

Although his smile suggests friendliness, his overall body language appears defensive.

In another photo, Harry's shoulders are more relaxed, but he resorts to a pacifying gesture by touching his own hip, indicating a need to calm himself.

These subtle cues hint at a departure from the usual Harry we have come to know when Meghan is not present.

Lastly, a peculiar observation emerged from a walking shot of Prince Harry.

It appeared that he carried his mobile phone in his front pocket, a practice discouraged due to its potential negative impact on testosterone and sperm count.

However, it is essential to note that Meghan has been in possession of the “Ginger Crown Jewel” since 2018, rendering any radiation concerns irrelevant.
