Harry Excluded from Dinner with Charles and William at Balmoral, Claims Source
Prince Harry allegedly left Balmoral in anger after being excluded from a dinner with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William.
According to reports, the incident occurred on the night the Queen passed away.
When news of the Queen's failing health emerged, Charles, William, and Harry rushed to Balmoral to be by her side.
While Charles and William traveled together with other relatives, Harry made the trip separately.
After the Queen's passing was announced, the royals stayed at Balmoral for the night before heading back to London.
However, royal expert Richard Kaye, writing in the Daily Mail, claims that despite all being present on the estate, Charles and William went to their respective homes, while Harry remained at Balmoral Castle with other relatives.
A source quoted by Kaye revealed that two separate dinners were hosted that night—one for the new King and his heir, and another for the rest of the family.
The rift between the two brothers has been widely discussed, with reports suggesting that William had concerns about Harry's relationship with Meghan Markle before their royal wedding in 2018.
The tension escalated, with Harry stating in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that his brother was trapped within the royal system.
However, despite the divide, William sent a last-minute text to Harry and Meghan, inviting them to Windsor Castle to view tributes to the late Queen and greet well-wishers alongside him and Kate.
Dressed in black, both couples arrived together in one car and spent approximately 40 minutes conversing with fans outside the castle grounds.
According to a source, William and Kate were initially scheduled to meet well-wishers and observe floral tributes, but William spontaneously extended the invitation to Meghan and Harry.
The source remarked on the speed of the invitation, considering they hadn't seen each other in Scotland.
In the meantime, Prince Harry released a personal and emotional tribute to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, following her passing at the age of 96.
His tribute highlighted Meghan's meeting with the Queen and their children, Archie and Lilibet, hugging their great-grandmother.
In a statement, he expressed that the Queen was an admired and respected figure globally, emphasizing her unwavering grace and dignity throughout her life.
Despite the strained relationship between Harry and the British Royal Family since his departure from the monarchy in 2020, he reminisces about some of his cherished memories.
This marks Prince Harry's first public statement since the Queen's passing on September 8th.
