Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams to Reunite at the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards

Two former co-stars of the hit TV show Suits, Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams, are set to reunite at the upcoming 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards.

According to a report by Variety, the event will take place on January 7th at 8pm EST, at the prestigious Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

This year, the ceremony will be led by U.S. comedian Joe Coy, known for his comedy specials on Comedy Central and Netflix.

Interestingly, , who also starred in Suits before leaving the show in 2019, was not invited to present at the Golden Globe Awards.

However, even if she had been invited, sources suggest that she might have declined the invitation.

It is believed that Meghan fears being mocked by some of the comedians at the awards, particularly Ricky Gervais.

Ricky Gervais, a British comedian known for his brutally honest nature and offensive jokes, has never shied away from making controversial remarks.

In fact, he has been nominated for an award at this year's Golden Globe Awards and there is speculation that he may take the opportunity to poke fun at and .

Given Gervais' history of pushing boundaries, it is uncertain what he might say about the royal couple.

It is worth noting that Gervais has had his fair share of run-ins with the royal family.

In December 2018, he took to Twitter to express his lack of interest in receiving a knighthood from the royal family.

Gervais, who comes from humble beginnings, tweeted, “Dear the royal family, I'm the son of an immigrant labourer who didn't have a pot to piss in till I was 40.

Now I'm Britain's most successful international comedian and I piss in anything I want.

You can shove the knighthood though, how about a lordship?

Love your work, Ricky.”

During an appearance on the Graham Norton show, Gervais made a snide remark about the presence of the royals at one of his comedy shows.

He humorously pointed out that when a prince attends a show, seven people with guns are allowed in for free.

This comment highlights Gervais' ability to blend comedy with social commentary.

In 2020, Gervais used his platform as the host of the Golden Globe Awards to call out the Hollywood elite for their connections to the late Jeffrey Epstein.

In a seven-minute monologue, he mocked Leonardo DiCaprio's preference for dating younger women, which led to a joke about and the s**ual allegations against him.

Gervais also made a reference to Netflix and Jeffrey Epstein, sarcastically stating, “This show should just be me coming out, you win everything Netflix, goodnight.

No, we drag it out three hours.

You could binge watch Afterlife instead of watching this show.

That's a show about a man who wants to kill himself because his wife dies of cancer, and it's still more fun than this.

Okay, spoiler alert, season 2's on the way, so in the end, obviously, he didn't kill himself.

Just like Jeffrey Epstein.”

This daring commentary garnered a strong reaction from the audience.

Ricky Gervais' presence at the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards promises to bring both laughter and controversy.

As fans eagerly anticipate the event, it remains to be seen what other surprises and memorable moments will unfold during the star-studded ceremony.
