Eugenie and Jack Freeze Out Harry and Meghan: A Tale of Changing Alliances

In a recent interview, Lady C drew attention to a point that has largely been ignored by the media – the growing distance between Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The last time we saw any sign of a pleasant interaction between Eugenie, Jack, Harry, and Meghan was in February when Eugenie accompanied Harry to the Super Bowl.

Later, they were photographed laughing together at Caruso's on the beach, but since then, any semblance of camaraderie seems to have disappeared.

Jack, who previously served as a brand ambassador for Casamigos tequila (owned by George Clooney and Randy Gerber), was laid off this spring after the company was sold to Diageo.

However, he found employment at Vista Terra Golf and Ocean Club, a new housing development near Lisbon, where he now works in sales under the guidance of Michael Meldman.

It is unclear why Jack left his previous position, but it coincided with Eugenie and Jack's quiet move from Frogmore Cottage to their smaller Grace and Favor Home, Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace.

Ivy Cottage, a three-bedroom residence, was given to them as a wedding gift.

It is situated next to another small cottage where Harry and Meghan resided temporarily while Frogmore Cottage underwent renovations.

At that time, Meghan and Eugenie were described as being as close as thieves.

However, things took a sudden turn when Harry renewed the lease for Frogmore Cottage in March 2022, claiming it as his domicile in England.

Around the same time, Harry and Meghan unexpectedly requested that Jack and Eugenie pay them $10,000 per month in rent to continue staying at Frogmore Cottage, which was completely vacant.

The reason behind this change in arrangement remains unknown, but it occurred during a period when Harry and Meghan were falling $2 million behind on their security service bills.

Eugenie currently works for an art dealer, but before that, she was employed by an auction house that was shut down due to fraud charges.

Jack's income as a tequila ambassador and his earnings from selling beach homes are uncertain, but it seems unlikely that they can afford to spend $120,000 per year on a second home.

Contrary to popular belief, Jack does not come from old money.

His father, a successful chartered accountant, provided him with a comfortable upper-middle-class lifestyle.

However, Jack did not attend university and managed a tiki bar in London, where he met Eugenie.

There is no indication that he has a substantial trust fund.

Moreover, Princess Anne and Sarah Ferguson have faced financial difficulties of their own, so it is unlikely that Jack and Eugenie have a large sum of money to give to Harry.

It is unclear what exactly transpired between the two couples, but their lack of warmth towards each other at the Platinum Jubilee was evident.

While Harry and Meghan waited for their car, Jack and Eugenie kept their distance and avoided eye contact.

They also skipped Lilibet's birthday party, and there is no indication that their son, August, attended either.

At the funeral, it seemed as though Jack and Eugenie considered Harry and Meghan invisible, as they engaged in conversations with other family members but ignored the couple completely.

The sudden request for $120,000 per year in rent for a vacant house undoubtedly played a part in the strained relationship.

However, it is doubtful that this alone caused the rift.

Eugenie was known to be a close friend of Meghan's during their time at Soho House, and one would expect her to draw closer to the Sussexes as Prince Charles ascends the throne.

Journalists should be investigating this significant change in alliances and uncovering the truth behind it.

One thing is certain – Eugenie and Jack held a deep affection for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

It is possible that they finally realized the extent of the hurt Harry caused the Queen and the toll his actions were taking on her health.
