Endgame by Omid Scobie: Controversial Book Undergoes Extensive Changes Following Allegations of Royal Discrimination

Dutch journalist Rick Evers has revealed that Omid Scobie's book, Endgame, has been re-released in Holland with numerous alterations.

Evers took to social media to highlight the extensive tweaks made to the explosive book, comparing it to the initial edition that has since been removed from shelves in the Netherlands.

Notably, the new version no longer names the two family members who were alleged to have expressed concerns about Prince 's skin color.

Evers also pointed out that certain sections where Scobie originally claimed to have firsthand knowledge have been replaced with references to ABC News and other sources.

Furthermore, there have been modifications related to people of color and historical events discussed in the book.

Several titles have been changed as well, including “Queen ” being adjusted to “Queen Consort ,” and “Catherine” being altered to “Kate.”

According to Evers, the changes in the text appear to be influenced by the Sussex camp, suggesting that sources close to and Meghan are quoted differently.

The Dutch version of Endgame has also been simplified and contains questionable choices, particularly regarding Prince Charles, as highlighted by Evers.

Scobie, who initially denied revealing any names in his book, has recently been spotted for the first time since the controversy erupted between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the royal family.

Dressed casually, Scobie was seen leaving Chateau Marmont, a popular celebrity spot in West Hollywood, quickly entering a waiting car.

The author seemed to blame the publisher for the printing mishap, admitting that an early and unclear version of the book was sent to the firm for translation, with the understanding that it would be updated in the final version.

However, the publisher disputed this, stating that Scobie's claims were factually incorrect.

Meanwhile, a source on Blind Item revealed that despite all the publicity stunts and scandals created by Scobie, his book failed to make it into the top ten in its first week.

This suggests that he may not earn enough to repay the advance for quite some time.

In fact, it is unlikely that Scobie will earn royalties anytime soon, as royalties are only received once enough copies have been sold to cover the advance payment.

This situation is further complicated if Scobie had an agreement to share royalties with co-author , making it even more amusing for some to witness her anticipated income being denied.

The future looks uncertain for Scobie, with some speculating whether he might turn to platforms like OnlyFans.

However, his recent controversies and association with have made him a liability.

Despite the royal family's historical aversion to lawsuits, Scobie represents a significant risk due to his potential for libelous statements.

Therefore, businesses may think twice before aligning themselves with him, as he brings along a truckload of controversy and negative PR.

The irony lies in the fact that Scobie and Meghan believed people would buy into the notion that she had no involvement in the book.

This delusion has been exposed, as evidenced by the Tatler UK society magazine's recent republication of an article about Scobie from 2020, when Finding Freedom was initially published.

The magazine's subtle shade towards Scobie's pretentiousness adds an extra layer of amusement to his recent downfall.

It seems that he can no longer afford the extravagant luxury items that were previously flaunted throughout the article.

In conclusion, Endgame by Omid Scobie has undergone significant changes following allegations of royal discrimination.

The modifications made to the book reflect efforts to address controversial aspects and remove sensitive information.
