**Dubai’s QE2 Hosts Live Screening of King Charles’s Coronation**

Dubai's Queen Elizabeth II floating hotel, the iconic QE2, will be hosting a live screening of the coronation of Britain's King Charles III.

This historic event is set to take place on Saturday, May 6th, marking the third royal event in British history to attract a crowd aboard the retired ocean liner now docked in Dubai.

The luxury vessel had previously hosted an event to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's platinum jubilee in May, followed by her funeral procession four months later.

Now, large screens will be installed inside the ship's ballroom and dining venues for guests to witness the coronation day's proceedings.

Fergal Purcell, the general manager of the QE2, expressed excitement about offering guests the opportunity to witness this significant moment live.

He emphasized the uniqueness of the occasion, aiming to create a special ambiance for guests to savor the historical event.

Special arrangements have been made for the guests onboard the QE2, with the Queen's room featuring a British-themed buffet and the Queen's Grill offering a three-course meal.

Additionally, the ship's Golden Lion pub, known as Dubai's oldest, will serve traditional British cuisine while broadcasting the coronation ceremony on multiple screens.

Notable celebrities, such as British boxer Aamir Khan, actress Lindsay Lohan, singer Dame Bowers, and reality TV star Laura Anderson, are expected to join the exclusive gathering at the QE2.

While some of these celebrities share connections with the Duchess and have collaborated with Meghan in the past, the Duchess herself will not be attending the event due to prior commitments.

Meanwhile, glamorous attendees arrived in style at Dubai's latest night spot, Float Dubai, where luxury cars lined up and guests eagerly entered the world's largest floating nightclub situated atop the QE2.

The club boasts an extravagant champagne list, with prices ranging from £975 for a bottle of Dom Pérignon to a staggering £78,000 for a Metzoula 6-liter Dom Pérignon Rosé Gold.

The coronation service at Westminster Abbey, officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, is scheduled to commence at 2 pm UAE time.

Approximately 2,000 guests from various parts of the world are expected to attend, witnessing King Charles's procession alongside Queen Consort Camilla in the Diamond Jubilee Stagecoach.

Following the ceremony, the royal couple will embark on a grand procession through the streets of London, traveling in the historic Gold State Coach.

This elaborate route will take them from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey, through iconic landmarks such as Parliament Square, Trafalgar Square, Admiralty Arch, and finally back to Buckingham Palace.
