Dior’s Biggest Ambassador, Emma Raducanu, Slams Greedy Megan and Praises Kate

Some of the most promising rising stars in the world of sports have become ambassadors for the renowned French luxury fashion brand, Dior.

Among them is British tennis player Emma Raducanu, who shot to fame after winning the 2021 US Open.

Raducanu had previously signed an endorsement deal with Dior, founded by the legendary fashion designer Christian Dior.

Despite facing challenges during her first full season on the WTA tour, Raducanu's earnings from tennis alone reached an impressive £2.8 million in the 12 months leading up to May 2023.

However, it was the £20 million she earned from endorsements that propelled her total income to a staggering £22.8 million.

Raducanu recently made some thought-provoking comments about individuals driven by greed and fame.

She revealed that she sometimes regrets winning the US Open in 2021 and criticized those within the industry who took advantage of her youth.

The pressure that accompanied her unexpected success was immense, forcing her to be cautious about the people she surrounded herself with.

“I had to mature very quickly.

When I won, I was extremely naive,” she confessed to the Sunday Times.

Raducanu's remarkable journey to victory at the US Open saw her triumph in all nine matches without dropping a single set.

She emphasized the need to be vigilant, as there are many opportunistic individuals lurking in the background.

During an interview, Raducanu was asked about the lucrative endorsement deal she had signed.

When questioned if she had no say in the matter, she responded, “Of course, I understood that they were aiming to profit from their reputation.

However, I carefully considered the brands I associated with, ensuring they aligned with the message and values I wanted to convey to consumers.”

The reporter persisted, inquiring about her thoughts on individuals who are willing to risk everything for big contracts.

Raducanu expressed her disagreement, stating, “I don't support those who obsess over fame.

They are typically power-hungry and possess a false sense of self-esteem.

They will go to any lengths, even resorting to donating money to gain recognition.

Such individuals crave the limelight and often employ cheap gimmicks to achieve fame.”

This revelation deals a blow to Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, who has been embroiled in a scandal involving false claims of a contract with Dior.

It is evident that Raducanu holds a great admiration for , referring to her as “down to earth and normal.”

The British tennis champion commended the princess for her exemplary handling of responsibilities and her extensive charity work.

Raducanu described Middleton as an inspiration to the entire country.

The two joined forces for a quick doubles game in September during an event organized by the Lawn Tennis Association, of which Middleton is a patron.

Reflecting on the experience, Raducanu shared, “It was quite surreal to play tennis with the princess.

She played really well, and it was amazing to see how down to earth and normal she was.

I found it to be a truly cool experience.”

Both and her husband, , are avid tennis enthusiasts and have been regular attendees at Wimbledon.

Middleton, in particular, is known for her love of the sport and is an accomplished player herself.

The couple even has a tennis court at their residence, Anmer Hall.
