In a recent column penned for The Sun, Jeremy criticized Meghan Markle, suggesting that her portrayal as a victim is embraced mainly by the naive and gullible individuals who anticipate the downfall of the monarchy through her actions.
He confidently asserted that despite the challenges faced by the British royal family, they are resilient enough to withstand the shallow narratives of a mere television actress.
Jeremy Clarkson further stated his prediction regarding Meghan Markle's future, asserting, “Trust me on this one.
Markle's toast, and within five years, I suspect she'll be posing for photographs, on her own outside the Taj Mahal or sitting on the back of a Playboy's yacht in the Med, and poor old Piers will realize that he lost his job over absolutely nothing at all.”
This unexpected show of support from Jeremy comes amidst a history of public conflicts between him and Piers Morgan.
Notably, the two personalities engaged in a well-known physical altercation during the 2004 British Press Awards, where reports suggested that Jeremy approached Piers' table and initiated a physical confrontation by throwing punches.
Reflecting on the altercation, Piers Morgan humorously recounted, “‘It was actually three punches.'
