Bethany Frankel Slams Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s PDA at Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral
In the aftermath of Queen Elizabeth's tragic passing, all eyes were on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who had stepped down from their senior roles in the royal family, found themselves back in the spotlight.
While the reunion of the Fab Four during such a sombre occasion was expected to attract attention, it was Harry and Meghan's public display of affection (PDA) that set the internet ablaze.
As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex walked hand in hand, displaying their love for each other, Prince William and Kate Middleton seemed distant in comparison.
Fans of Harry and Meghan saw this as proof of their strong bond, while using the lack of PDA between William and Kate as evidence of a strained relationship.
However, not everyone shared this sentiment.
Bravo star Bethany Frankel recently voiced her disapproval of Harry and Meghan's PDA and criticized the public for using it against William and Kate.
On her podcast, Just Be with Bethany Frankel, she expressed her uncensored thoughts on the matter.
Frankel argued that comparing the level of affection between a couple married for two to three years and one married for nearly two decades is absurd.
She emphasized that considering William and Kate's future roles as the future king and queen, it would be unwise to read too much into their body language.
Frankel didn't hold back when it came to Prince Harry and Meghan.
She urged them to “get their shit together” and grow up, questioning their decision to engage in such behavior at a royal funeral.
Frankel sarcastically remarked, “What are you twirling your partner's hair at a royal funeral?
I mean, get your shit together, come on.”
This isn't the first time Frankel has expressed her displeasure with Prince Harry and Meghan.
In a previous episode of her podcast, she labeled Meghan as sanctimonious and drew comparisons to reality TV stars who leave their shows but continue talking about them.
Amidst all the drama, a new report suggests that the Sussexes are reconsidering the content of Prince Harry's memoir and their Netflix docuseries following Queen Elizabeth's death.
The future decisions of the royal family may depend on the release of Harry's book.
With Charles now king, Harry and Meghan's children automatically become Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.
A source close to the king revealed that much would hinge on the developments in the coming months, particularly with regards to Harry's book and their TV show.
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield shed light on Harry's ultimate objective for his memoir, stating that it isn't what everyone assumes.
According to Schofield, Harry aims to be seen as a thought leader in the United States, potentially becoming a high-profile speaker mentioned in the same breath as President Obama and Mark Zuckerberg when corporations consider inviting speakers for their luxury retreats or conferences.
The book is expected to delve into Harry's personal journey of overcoming the trauma of losing his mother.
Contrary to media reports suggesting that the memoir will criticize the royal family and reveal Harry's true feelings towards Camilla Parker Bowles, To Die For Daily author disagrees.
They believe that Harry wouldn't use the book as an opportunity to tear down his family, as his children would benefit from their association and the success of the royal family.
While there are rumors that the release of the memoir has been pushed back to 2023, there has been no official confirmation from the Duke.
It is speculated that the initial draft of the book focused more on mental health and emotional aspects, but the publisher may have requested juicier content.
Only time will tell what revelations await us in Prince Harry's memoir.
