Eugenie currently resides in Portugal with her husband Jack Brooksbank, while Beatrice was unable to travel to Balmoral.

Queen Elizabeth passed away at the age of 96 at Balmoral on Thursday, with King Charles III and reportedly by her side.

Shortly after the palace announced the Queen's death, Charles released a statement expressing his profound grief.

He said, “We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished sovereign and a much-loved mother.

I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the realms, and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.

During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which the Queen was so widely held.”

Meanwhile, it has been reported by Hello magazine that and have not received an invitation to a special state event in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth.

The event, hosted by King Charles III, is scheduled for Sunday, September 18, 2022, and will be attended by heads of states, official foreign guests, and working royals.

, Meghan, and Prince Andrew have been excluded from the guest list, as confirmed by a spokesperson from Buckingham Palace.

The palace statement further clarified, “The King and the Queen consort will host heads of state and official overseas guests at Buckingham Palace ahead of the state funeral of Her Majesty the Queen.

This will be an official state event.”

It is worth noting that Prince Harry, Meghan, and Andrew joined other senior members of the royal family in a procession behind the Queen's coffin as it was transported to Westminster Hall, where it now lies in state.

In another development, Prince Harry and Andrew have been prohibited from wearing their military uniforms at the Queen's funeral.

Only working royals have been granted this honor, although the two princes are allowed to wear their uniforms on other special occasions.

As preparations continue for the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth, the King and the Queen consort will host heads of state and official overseas guests at Buckingham Palace.

This significant event will pay tribute to the life and legacy of Her Majesty the Queen.
