Barker Roadside: Outrage Over Meghan’s Fans’ Insensitive Posts About Queen’s Hospitalization

A fan of and has faced severe criticism for sharing social media posts while the Queen was hospitalized, according to a royal commentator.

Buckingham Palace reassured the public that Her Majesty was in good spirits after undergoing preliminary investigations during her hospital visit.

It is important to note that her admission was unrelated to COVID-19.

A palace source revealed that the overnight stay was purely for practical reasons, and the Queen was actively engaged in light duties on Thursday afternoon.

Numerous royal fans took to social media to express their well wishes and hope for the monarch's speedy recovery.

However, a journalist recently shared a screenshot on Twitter, exposing a message posted by a fan of the Duchess, accompanied by the caption, “There are some disgusting posts about the Queen from Harry and Meghan fans.”

The fan had tweeted, “BRBM shopping coffins for the Queen,” followed by another tweet featuring pictures of coffins.

The same account later posted, “Don't worry Queen, I got you at Royal Family.

Which one do you want now?

Stainless steel?

Mahogany?

Oak?”

These posts were accompanied by screenshots from a coffin website.

Mr. Eden was not the only one appalled by these tweets.

Many users condemned the account as disgraceful and disgusting.

Atrebelltroop described the fans as an absolute disgrace, and numerous others reported the original tweets.

These sickening messages emerged after the Queen spent a night in the hospital for tests, leading to the cancellation of her official duties.

On Wednesday afternoon, royal doctors advised the 95-year-old Sovereign to seek specialist care in London.

As a precautionary measure, she was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in Marylebone.

This marked her first hospital stay in eight years, and it was primarily for practical purposes.

Yesterday afternoon, the Queen returned to her desk at Windsor Castle.

A source quoted in the Daily Mail stated, “Quite understandably, a cautious approach is being taken by the medical team.

Her Majesty was back at her desk this afternoon and undertaking light duties.”

She spent her time reading official government red boxes and is expected to recover for the remainder of the week.

These red boxes contain policy papers, Cabinet documents, Foreign Office telegrams, and a daily summary of parliamentary events.

They are sent to the monarch by her private secretaries every day of the year, regardless of her location.

The Palace announced last night that the Queen followed medical advice to rest for a few days, attended the hospital on Wednesday afternoon for preliminary investigations, and returned to Windsor Castle on Thursday at lunchtime.

Her spirits remain high.

Meanwhile, recently disclosed her struggles in a letter to the US Congress, advocating for paid parental leave, despite having attended a private school costing $16,000 per year and employing nannies for child care.

Critics have pointed out that her father, an Emmy Award-winning lighting director, covered the expenses of her education through his salary and a lottery win.

Royal biographer Angela Levin ridiculed Meghan Markle for jumping on the bandwagon and lobbying Democrat Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and US Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer to push for parental leave policies.

Levin highlighted that these measures, supported by President Joe Biden, had already been passed by the US Congress.

Additionally, the signature at the end of the letter, which included , Lily, and Harry, raised eyebrows.

It seems odd for and Lily to be involved in matters concerning parental leave.

Ms. Levin commented, “I think it's yet another shock for Meghan which has garnered loads of publicity, which is obviously one aim of it.

She has abused the royal status while trying to dictate to another government.”

In conclusion, the insensitivity displayed by Meghan's fans during the Queen's hospitalization has sparked outrage.

Buckingham Palace reassured the public of Her Majesty's well-being, and many royal supporters expressed their good wishes.

However, the disgraceful social media posts from a fan drew severe criticism from both a royal commentator and other users.
