Baker Reveals Stunning Cake for Lilibet’s First Birthday Amidst Photoshop Claims

The baker responsible for creating and 's wedding cake has recently shared a new snapshot of a magnificent strawberry buttercream cake made for their daughter 's first birthday.

The couple celebrated the joyous occasion with a relaxed garden party in June, held at the Windsor estate, where they basked in the British summer sunshine.

The festivities included birthday cake balloons, party games, and delightful picnic snacks.

However, some royal enthusiasts have raised suspicions about the authenticity of the cake and 's birthday picture, suggesting that they may have been photoshopped.

Despite these claims, Claire Ptack, an esteemed baker from East London who previously crafted the couple's wedding cake in 2018, prepared an array of delectable treats for the low-key celebration.

Among them was a two-tier cake adorned with a seasonal strawberry buttercream.

Claire took to Instagram to showcase her creations, sharing a new snapshot of the cake as part of a highlights reel for 2022.

She expressed her gratitude to all the customers and supporters who inspired such beautiful work throughout the previous year.

The cake's top and sides were beautifully decorated with a buttercream infused with the essence of lemons from the Amalfi coast.

It was further embellished with finely chopped candied Amalfi lemon peel.

In a post on the bakery's Instagram account, Claire expressed her delight in crafting this special cake for Lilibet's birthday, extending her well wishes for the year ahead.

She revealed that the cake's interior was made of Amalfi lemon and elderflower, the same combination she had created for the Duke and Duchess' wedding cake.

However, this time, it was covered with a luscious strawberry buttercream, specially tailored for Lilibet's celebration.

Harry and Meghan later treated their fans to glimpses of the event through their Netflix documentary.

The footage showcased heartwarming moments where the couple lifted Lilibet as she blew out the candles on her cake.

However, some social media users expressed skepticism about the authenticity of the pictures.

One netizen questioned the inconsistency in the location and timing of the photos, speculating whether there were two identical birthday cakes—one in Windsor and another in Montecito.

Another user chimed in, pointing out that the black and white striped lawn chairs seen in the pictures were also spotted at a house in Canada.

They found it hard to believe that Meghan would have transported the chairs from Canada to the UK or from Canada to Montecito.

These comments fueled further doubts about the legitimacy of the images, with users scrutinizing every detail, including the worn appearance of the chairs.

During the time of the party, the Sussexes' spokesperson did not disclose the names of the family members who attended.

However, it was believed that Zara and Mike Tindall were present, while , Catherine, George, and Charlotte were representing the Queen in Wales.

Other guests allegedly included Zara and Mike Tindall's children—Mia (8), Lena (3), and Lucas (1)—as well as Savannah and Isla, the daughters of Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly.

Charlie Van Straubenzee, 's godfather, and his brother Tom, 's godfather, were also reportedly invited.

Critics questioned the scale of the celebration, suggesting that it fell short of their expectations for a birthday party.

They envisioned other mothers with their babies, balloons, and a table adorned with food, even if it were just carrot sticks and dip.

Moreover, some pointed out that the black and white striped seat in the pictures matched one from the house in Canada, raising doubts about its presence at Frogmore Cottage, where the event supposedly took place.

They also observed a lack of enthusiasm from the little boy, making them question the authenticity of the moment captured in the photograph.

As the debate continues, some individuals are convinced that the images have indeed been photoshopped.
