Archwell Donations Plummet by $11 Million: Meghan and Harry’s Charity Struggles
Donations to Archwell, the charity founded by Meghan and Harry, have taken a significant hit, dropping by $11 million according to their annual report.
The couple recently released a promotional video highlighting the foundation’s achievements over the past year, despite doubts about the actual impact of their work.
While Meghan and Harry have been keeping a low profile, it seems they are now ready to step back into the spotlight.
This comes after Catherine, the Princess of Wales, shared a photo of herself and her children at a baby bank, prompting Meghan and Harry to try and outshine her once again.
In their promotional clip, Meghan and Harry showcased Meghan’s visit to the Fisher House Foundation in LA and their appearance at an event for World Mental Health Day in New York.
However, it is worth noting that these events were not new and had already been widely reported.
The timing of the video release, right after Catherine’s photo, raises suspicions that Meghan and Harry are trying to divert attention away from the fallout of Omid Scobie’s book, “Endgame.”
The video includes footage from World Mental Health Day, where Meghan made a tone-deaf speech to parents who had lost their children due to online bullying.
Her remarks about motherhood being the most important role in her life were seen as insensitive and out of touch.
It is clear that Meghan and Harry are still vying for media attention and attempting to compete with William and Catherine.
However, the reality is that Meghan and Harry’s foundation, Archwell, has not been successful in its fundraising efforts.
The recently released tax filing shows that the foundation raised only $2 million compared to the previous year’s $13 million.
Furthermore, there were only two anonymous donors, raising questions about the sustainability of the organization.
