Carole Middleton Stuns in Familiar Pink Dress at Royal Ascot

Carole Middleton, the mother of the Duchess of Cambridge, displayed her impeccable taste in fashion as she attended the prestigious Royal Ascot event dressed in a striking pink dress.

The 67-year-old entrepreneur and her husband, Michael Middleton, made a stylish appearance at the annual horse racing competition, where attendees, including members of the public and royalty, showcase their most high-end fashion choices.

Carole looked elegant in a pink silk shirt dress, featuring a tied belt at the waist and a pleated detail down the front.

Complementing her outfit, she wore a large black fascinator and carried a simple clutch bag, while adorning delicate gold jewelry to complete her look.

Meanwhile, her husband, Michael, looked dapper in a traditional top hat and tails.

Interestingly, the pink dress worn by Carole is the exact same one her daughter, Catherine, wore during a royal engagement last May.

The Duchess had previously donned the dress to meet with Mila Sneddon, a five-year-old patient featured in her Hold Still photography project.

Mila, who underwent intensive chemotherapy for leukemia during the height of the pandemic, was forced to shield and captured the nation's hearts when she was photographed kissing her father through a window.

During a week-long visit to Scotland, Catherine welcomed Mila for tea at Holyrood House in May 2021.

The Duchess had previously spoken to the young girl over the phone.

An image titled “Shielding Mila,” taken by Mila's mother, Linda, was included in Catherine's book, Hold Still, which showcases a portrait of the nation in 2020.

Keeping her promise to wear pink, Catherine paired the dress with tan heels and a floral face mask, Mila's favorite color.

This isn't the first time Carole and Catherine have had a twinning moment.

In the past, they have been spotted wearing the same outfits on multiple occasions.

For instance, Carole donned a striking white fascinator topped with a blue flower at a friend's wedding in 2009.

The following year, she wore the same hat to Royal Ascot, pairing it with a sharp cobalt dress by Reece.

The outfit gained even more significance when the Duchess borrowed the dress for her first public speech as a member of the Royal Family in 2012, wearing the belted style to East Anglia's Children's Hospice.

Carole's generosity extends beyond sharing clothes with her daughter.

She also lent her own wedding dress to her daughter-in-law, Elise, who wore it for her wedding to James Middleton in 2021.

Today, at Royal Ascot, Catherine's parents appeared to be thoroughly enjoying their day out as they engaged in conversations with fellow racing enthusiasts from the stands.

However, the Duchess herself was not in attendance.

Despite the absence of the Queen, who was unable to attend due to mobility issues, numerous other members of the Royal Family graced the event.

Prince Charles and , accompanied by the Duchess of Cornwall, were present, along with and her children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall.

Countess Sophie Wessex and , accompanied by her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mosi, were also among the attendees.

It is worth noting that Her Majesty has been a devoted fan of the annual racing event and had attended every race between 1952 and 2020, prior to the pandemic.

This year, she reportedly watched the race from her home at Windsor Castle, particularly as her horse, King's Lynn, competed.

Today's matching moment between Carole and Catherine comes amidst reports that the Cambridge family will be relocating to Windsor later this year, bringing them closer to Carole's family home in Berkshire.

As fans eagerly await the Duchess's arrival at Royal Ascot, they can also anticipate another sighting of Carole, adding to the excitement surrounding this year's event.
