Millions of Britons were treated to a special Christmas surprise as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, showcased her musical talents on TV.

The Duchess made an unexpected appearance during a telepronanza filmed at Westminster Abbey, where she played the piano to accompany singer Tom Walker in a moving performance.

The concert, which aimed to pay tribute to inspirational individuals who served their communities during the pandemic, featured festive footage of Catherine behind the piano, joining Tom Walker as he sang his hit song, “For Those Who Can't Be Here.”

The Duchess had invited 1,200 stars and heroes to the Royal Carols together at Christmas show, which she hosted herself.

Following a stirring rendition of “O Holy Night” by Leona Lewis, Tom Walker took the stage to perform “For Those Who Can't Be Here.”
