Harry and Meghan Demand Balcony Appearance at Coronation

has reportedly contacted the Duke of Norfolk, who is responsible for arranging the coronation, to demand a balcony appearance for both him and Meghan.

The request was made by Harry to Edward Fitzell and Howard, the current Earl Marshal.

As the 18th Duke of Norfolk, he holds the significant role of overseeing major ceremonial occasions.

In fact, he was in charge of organizing the late Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations last June and her state funeral in September.

The Fitzell and Howards are among the oldest aristocratic families in the country, with their family seat located at Arundel Castle in West Sussex.

The castle's grounds span an impressive 16,000 acres, making it the largest estate in the region.

The Duke of Norfolk is well aware that the guest list for the late Queen's coronation originally included 8,000 people.

However, with the approval of Prince Charles, he has reduced this number to 2,000.

Despite the expected demands from Montecito, Harry is pushing for a balcony appearance, urged on by his ever-ambitious wife, Meghan.

It seems she believes that being seen rubbing shoulders with royalty is crucial for their relevance.

She may have even reminded Harry of their previous claims for privacy, suggesting that it's time for them to take center stage.

While the request for a balcony appearance is now in the hands of the coronation organizer, it is highly unlikely that Harry and Meghan will be granted this privilege for ' coronation.

Even before confirming their attendance, they had asked to be allowed on the balcony.

They specifically requested that their children, and , be included in the ceremony and that their entire family be present on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

However, according to expert Angela Mollard, it is expected that the King will deny their request in order to maintain the focus on a smaller portion of the family.

Mollard points out that it is already five weeks away from the coronation, and proper planning is required.

She believes there is no chance that Harry and Meghan will be given a place on the balcony.

Charles has been working towards a slimmed-down monarchy and has effectively dealt with 's situation.

It is clear that they will not be accommodated in this manner.

It is no secret that Meghan is eager for photos and videos of her alongside the King and the Prince and Princess of Wales.

However, some question whether she is willing to subject her children to such overwhelming sensory experiences just for the sake of money.

It is reminiscent of the way Harry was made to walk behind his mother's coffin, leaving a lasting impact on him.

Critics argue that Meghan's desire for these images is driven by greed, and certain individuals posing as royal experts seem to perpetuate this narrative of the Sussexes and their children on the balcony.

Such stories frequently appear in tabloids.

According to a source from OK!

magazine, the inclusion of and in the ceremony has never been a point of contention.

It is well-known that small children do not typically attend royal events of this magnitude due to restlessness and potential tantrums.

In conclusion, while Harry and Meghan may have requested a balcony appearance at the coronation, it is highly unlikely that their wish will be granted.

The focus of the event will likely remain on a select few members of the royal family, in line with Prince Charles' vision for a streamlined monarchy.
