Harry and Meghan’s Popularity Declines as Fans Boycott Duke’s Memoir

and are reportedly experiencing a significant drop in popularity both in the UK and the US, according to Nigel Farage.

The couple, who stepped down from their royal duties in March 2020, relocated to California in pursuit of a financially independent life.

However, their recent interviews about royal life have garnered criticism, leading to a loss of interest from their fans.

In fact, new data reveals that the Sussexes have been losing followers on Instagram, while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's follower count continues to rise.

British data analysis firm HypoDetour disclosed that over the past year, 700,000 people have unfollowed and 's Instagram account, as reported by The Sun.

On the other hand, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge now boast an impressive 13 million followers on the same platform, gaining 1 million new royal fans within a year.

Additionally, the Queen's royal family account has accumulated 1.3 million more followers.

Experts in the royal field have suggested that the public has grown weary of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's demeanor.

Speaking on GB News, Nigel Farage commented on the situation, stating, “It's done some damage but I do sense a change.

The polls recently, when people were asked about whether they were interested in buying or reading the new book, a vast majority were utterly and completely disinterested.

I think that's where we're going with it.

Most people I know don't want to hear another word from them ever again.

Ultimately, they are discrediting themselves.

They are doing it rapidly in this country, and it's beginning to happen in the USA as well, where they're nowhere near as popular as they were before.

Short term, they've hurt the monarchy.

Longer term, I don't think they're going to make any difference.”

This revelation comes after the royal couple was notably absent from Barack Obama's birthday party guest list last month, which royal expert Angela Levin claims will be a blow that the royals won't easily recover from.

Tomini, associate editor of The Telegraph, also suggested that the Sussexes' interview with did not sit well with the former US president and first lady, who have always prioritized family.

Talk radio host Mike Graham added, “Of course we know they don't really have any friends and the only friends they do have, or that they count as friends, are all the people who got invited to Barack Obama's 60th birthday party.

But they didn't.”

Ms. Levin concurred, stating that the popularity of the Sussex couple has experienced highs and lows since their departure as senior royals in March 2020.

In April, it was reported that Harry and Meghan's popularity had plummeted to an all-time low following 's funeral on April 17.

This decline in popularity followed their explosive interview with , during which they made accusations of racism within the royal family.

Unfortunately, they have failed to regain favor with the British public since then.

According to a YouGov survey conducted between April 21 and 22, Prince Harry's popularity fell by three points, with 43% of Britons holding a positive opinion of him, while 49% regarded him negatively.

This resulted in a net score of minus 6 in terms of popularity, a drop from his previous score of minus 3 on March 12.

Meghan's popularity also experienced a slight decline after a sharp decrease in March.

Despite their declining popularity, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing for a busy period following the birth of their second child, as they launch content for their Netflix and Spotify projects.

After leaving the royal family, Harry and Meghan signed multi-million dollar contracts with Netflix and Spotify to create exclusive content for both platforms.

Royal commentator Olmert Scobie has stated that after taking a few months off, the couple is now gearing up for an active period.

In conclusion, Harry and Meghan's popularity has taken a hit, with their fans boycotting the Duke's memoir.

Their recent interviews and accusations have caused a loss of interest among their followers, resulting in a decline in their social media presence.
