Royal Family Gears Up for Annual Easter Celebrations

Get ready for a delightful Easter celebration as the Royal Family prepares to don their Sunday best and indulge in chocolate eggs.

This year, however, there is a tinge of sadness as it marks the first Easter without the late Queen, who held a special place for this holiday.

Nevertheless, the Royals will still partake in their beloved traditions, including attending a service at St George's Chapel on Easter Sunday, engaging in Easter egg hunts, and relishing in a feast of delectable food.

Renowned Royal expert Ingrid Stewart reveals that the Royals will savor traditional Easter fare such as roast lamb, venison, pheasant, chicken, spring vegetables, new potatoes, and carrots.

Let us not forget the mouthwatering salmon caught in the River Dee and the succulent roast ham, which may also grace the Royal table.

But what about the younger members of the family?

In the past, the Queen enforced a rule that young children could only join the adults at the dinner table once they could adeptly handle a knife and fork.

However, according to Stewart, King Charles may have relaxed this rule for his young grandchildren, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

While the adults relish their meal together, the Royal children will dine in the nursery dining room.

This practice is not new, as it also occurs during Christmas.

In fact, in 2019, Mike Tindall, husband of the King's niece, Sarah, spilled the beans on the annual Royal pre-Christmas lunch during his rugby podcast.

Tindall shared that the Royal little ones, including his own children Mia, Lena, and Lucas, had their own table in a separate room away from the adults.

“This is the family lunch.

There were seven tables, so there must have been about 70 of us there.

The kiddies had their own little one in a different room,” he said.

The list of Royals attending the Easter celebrations this year remains undisclosed.

However, it is safe to assume that the absence of the Queen will be deeply felt by the family, considering her profound fondness for Easter.

Even in her absence, the Royal family will continue to honor her memory and uphold her legacy.

One fan expressed their sentiments on a recent Instagram post featuring King Charles and Prince William sharing a heartfelt father-son moment, saying, “Proud father and son remembering the Queen!”

Despite the challenges faced in the past year, the Royal family has persevered and adapted to the ever-changing circumstances.

With the addition of new members like Princess Beatrice's daughter and Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's second child, the family continues to grow and evolve.
