Harry Faces Backlash from Hollywood as Adult Toy Company and Models Mock His Story
Prince Harry is facing criticism from Hollywood as his story continues to be mocked by an adult toy company and models.
Rianne Sugden, a former glamour model, has launched a new rude greeting card business that takes a dig at the embattled royal.
The cards, designed by Sugden herself, are set to include one that features a cartoon drawing of Harry with a caption that reads, “my p-nis oscillates between extremely sensitive and borderline traumatized when I think of you.”
In addition to this, another card depicts actress Sarah Lancashire in her role as Catherine Carwood in the BBC cop drama “Happy Valley” with the caption, “Happy Valley times day on it.”
A third card showcases Jarvis Cocker with the slogan, “I want to sleep with common people like you.”
These risqué cards will be available for purchase on Sugden's website by the end of the month.
Meanwhile, a British s** toy company, Love Honey, has also taken a swipe at Prince Harry.
They unveiled a digital billboard featuring an ad that reads, “silence is golden.”
This comes after the prince's intimate revelations in his recently released memoir sparked a wave of online memes and jokes at his expense.
The ad features a ball gag with the slogan, “silence is golden Harry,” and directs viewers to the Love Honey website with the phrase, “spare ball gags available.”
Love Honey's head of s**ual empowerment, Joanne Reiff, expressed the brand's previous support for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's journey, particularly their advocacy against racism, misogyny, and bullying in the UK.
However, Reiff stated that Harry's memoir had crossed a line with certain explicit references, such as those to his genitalia, which she deemed as “too much information.”
Love Honey wanted to respond playfully to this by creating their own cheeky ad.
It is worth noting that Love Honey has been a long-term supporter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, even releasing a commemorative royal wedding p-nis ring to celebrate their marriage.
The brand has also been recognized with the Queen's Award in 2016 and 2021, further highlighting their connection to the royal family.
In light of Prince Harry's memoir, titled “Spare,” both he and Meghan Markle have experienced a decline in popularity.
According to a poll conducted by Redfield and Wilton, their favorability ratings have dropped significantly since its release.
In December 2021, Harry had a favorability rating of plus 38 among 2,000 US voters.
However, in a poll taken on January 16th, that number plummeted to minus 7.
Similarly, Meghan Markle's approval rating dropped from 23 to minus 13 during the same period.
The New York Times review of “Spare” captures the sentiment shared by many, describing the memoir as emotional yet embittered.
It highlights the paradox of seeking to renounce fame while drawing endless attention.
The review also mentions the chaotic nature of the book, referencing Harry's frostbitten p-nis and drug use.
As the fallout from his memoir continues, Prince Harry finds himself facing backlash from Hollywood, with both Rianne Sugden's greeting cards and Love Honey's provocative ad serving as reminders of the controversy surrounding his revelations.
The decline in his and Meghan's popularity further indicates the impact of the memoir on public perception.
