However, despite the ongoing controversy, King Charles and Queen Camilla have ignored the plea from Meghan Hazel to attend the event as honored guests.
A Royal employee expressed surprise at the audacity of Harry and Meghan's request for an official invitation from King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Nevertheless, the couple's plea was disregarded by the King.
Meanwhile, preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest are underway, with King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla Parker-Bowles unveiling the staging for the event.
As future King and Queen, Prince William and Princess Catherine are expected to be present as honored guests at the occasion.
They were seen engaging in light-hearted conversations with Eurovision commentators Rylan and Scott Mills, as well as meeting presenters Hannah Waddingham and Julia Sanina.
The Royals also took the opportunity to encourage May Muller, the British Eurovision entrant, who hopes to replicate the success of last year's second-placed UK entrant, Sam Ryder.
During their visit to Liverpool, Charles and Camilla were given a behind-the-scenes tour of the Liverpool Arena, where they met the Eurovision presenting team.
They also had a chance to speak with May Muller, who will represent the UK with her track “I Wrote a Song.”
The Queen Consort advised May not to end up at the bottom of the pile in this year's song contest.
The Eurovision hosts, commentators, and representatives showcased the spectacular set to Their Majesties ahead of the finals at Liverpool's Echo Arena next month.
The brand new set, designed by Julio Humid, boasts impressive features, including over 450 square meters of staging, 220 square meters of video screens, more than 700 floor video tiles, and over 1500 meters of LED lights.
Tim Davey, the BBC Director General, expressed gratitude for the presence of King Charles and Queen Consort at the unveiling of the staging.
He emphasized that this set will be the focal point of the celebrations and eagerly anticipated its visual impact on both Liverpool and TV screens worldwide.
Martin Green CBE, the Managing Director of Eurovision, praised the collaboration between partners and the BBC, highlighting the stage's ability to captivate audiences from around the globe.
The Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to air from May 9 to May 13, 2023.
The first semi-final will take place on May 9, followed by the second semi-final on May 11.
The grand final, the main event, will be held on May 13.
Despite the controversy surrounding the NGN case and the rejection of Meghan Hazel's plea, the Eurovision Song Contest is set to continue, offering a memorable and entertaining experience for music lovers worldwide.
