Duchess of York Invited to Join Royal Family for Christmas After 30 Years

For the first time in three decades, Sarah Ferguson, also known as the Duchess of York, has been extended an invitation to spend Christmas with the Royal Family.

Since her divorce from in 1992, the Duchess had been excluded from Christmas events.

The exclusion was a result of a scandal involving her being photographed having her toe sucked by financial advisor John Bryan shortly after the break-up, which left furious.

However, this year, Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate is being prepared for the Duke of York, his ex-wife, and their daughters, as has taken control.

According to a source at Sandringham, the five-bedroom Wood Farm is being readied for Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, along with their respective spouses and children.

This unexpected invitation may mean that , Fergie, , and other members of the royal family will join the public in strolling to St Mary Magdalene Church.

It is worth noting that after the incident with John Bryan, the Duke of Edinburgh forbade Fergie from attending Christmas dinners with the family.

The source at Sandringham further revealed that while Andrew is banned from public life, he cannot be banned from celebrating Christmas with his family.

Staff at Sandringham have been given the task of preparing Wood Farm for the entire York family.

In the past, Sarah was never allowed to attend the family Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations while Philip and the Queen were alive.

For 30 years, she had spent Christmas dinner alone, but now things are being done differently.

If Fergie accepts the invitation, she will exchange gifts with the rest of the family on Christmas Eve in Sandringham's White Room.

It is expected that they will also share dinner on Christmas Day, as well as a black-tie evening meal.

However, according to royal sources, the Duke is still unable to return to public life.

Another anticipated guest who may receive an invitation is Mike Tindall, the 44-year-old former England rugby player who is married to 's daughter, Zara.
