Duchess Loses to Princess: Meghan Ashamed of Christmas Post Defeat
In a surprising turn of events, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has once again found herself on the losing end to her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, in the Christmas post competition.
The stark contrast between the two royal figures is not only evident in their personalities and characteristics but also in their approaches to life within the royal family.
According to royal author Tom Bower's book, Revenge, Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle had vastly different strategies when it came to navigating their royal roles.
While Kate chose to invest a significant amount of time, approximately 10-12 years, in learning the intricacies of royal life, Meghan was determined to hit the ground running, even if she lacked a deep understanding of the royal family's operations.
Royal author Andrew Morton supported Bower's claims, emphasizing that mastering the royal ropes requires time and patience.
Middleton, in contrast, took the necessary time to fully comprehend the inner workings of the royal family and her royal responsibilities.
Morton also commended Markle for her impressive ability to deliver speeches, overcoming her initial fear of public speaking.
He believed that she possessed all the qualities necessary to become a senior working royal.
However, tragedy struck when Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, failed to allow themselves sufficient time to adjust to the demands of their roles.
As a result, they will once again be absent from the royal family's Christmas festivities this year, while Kate is set to host another Christmas Carol service on December 15th, dedicated to the late Queen.
Expressing her excitement for the upcoming event, Kate seemingly mocked the Sussexes with a caption in a social media post.
Alongside a clip, she wrote, “A date for your diary this December, and you can join us for this very special Carol service on ITV on Christmas Eve.”
It appears that Harry, Meghan, and their children, Lilibet and Archie, will not be celebrating Christmas with their royal relatives, as their relationships with the rest of the family have yet to be repaired.
In a recent episode of the podcast Archetypes, Meghan Markle directly addressed the pain caused by being labeled as difficult or a “bitch” for ambitious women like herself.
She hinted at adopting a strategic approach to counter these derogatory terms and use them as a catalyst for embracing a new life.
Royal expert Victoria Arbiter suggested that Meghan has been using her podcast platform to challenge the negative narratives surrounding her and Prince Harry's departure from the royal family.
Arbiter stated, “The agreement with streaming giant Spotify has offered Meghan an enormous platform to change the narrative about her and Prince Harry's departure from the royal [family].
Certainly, I think a podcast has been an incredible platform to push back against some of the wrongs she feels she's experienced.”
The nickname “Duchess Difficult” was coined in 2018 amid rumors of Meghan's challenging behavior towards her royal aides.
Allegations of sending demanding emails at 5 am and mistreating staff members were made, although the Sussexes vehemently denied these claims.
Through her podcast, Meghan aims to present her side of the story, albeit perhaps not as explicitly as in her interviews with Oprah Winfrey.
Nevertheless, it provides her with an opportunity to share her perspective.
The allegations of the Duchess's conduct towards her staff prompted an investigation into claims of bullying made by former aides.
This investigation further fueled speculation and added to the ongoing narrative surrounding Meghan's reputation within the royal family.
As the holiday season approaches, it seems that the divide between the Duchess and the Princess remains unchanged.
