Battle Rages On: Meghan and Harry Clash Over UK Residence
The ongoing dispute between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry over their UK residence has taken a bitter turn, with both parties vying for control of Frogmore cottage.
According to royal commentator Neil Sean, the couple is at odds regarding whether they should move out of their current residence.
While Meghan allegedly wishes to leave Frogmore cottage, Prince Harry is inclined to stay for tax purposes.
Neil Sean, who cited a reliable source, revealed this alleged squabble on his YouTube channel, Neil Sean's Daily News Headline.
He stated, “Now, what's interesting here is the battle rages on because Meghan would like not to come back to Frogmore again.
In fact, I was told by a very good source that she'd be more than happy to stay inside a central London hotel, perhaps the Goring, a particular favorite of royals if you can check that out, and very expensive indeed.
Oh yes.
But for now, obviously, Frogmore remains their home, but for how much longer?”
It appears that Meghan and Harry's disagreement over their residence has been an ongoing issue.
As Mr. Sean pointed out, Meghan seems to get her way each time, leaving Prince Harry's foot down swiftly kicked away.
The question remains: Will Harry continue to have one foot in Frogmore, or will it be a permanent goodbye?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into Frogmore cottage on the Windsor estate in April 2019, just before the birth of their first child, Archie.
At that time, there was speculation surrounding a £2.4 million renovation project.
Meghan addressed these rumors in an interview with The Cut, dismissing them as exaggerated.
She clarified, “There was never, for instance, a yoga studio with a floating floor, never a gold bathtub or a copper bathtub, there wasn't a special wing for her mother.”
During their recent charity tour in Britain, Meghan and Harry have been residing at Frogmore cottage.
Mr. Sean added an interesting observation, stating, “What's interesting though when you think about it is that obviously a lot of people are saying, ‘Well, Harry wants this for tax reasons.'
Perhaps, so.
But you know, I do kind of believe he still wants one foot with his family over here in the United Kingdom.
Seemingly, though, and as ever we have to say allegedly, not Ms.
Markle.”
It seems that Frogmore cottage holds some discomfort for Meghan, but not because of any lurking ghosts on the great Windsor estate.
Rather, it appears to be a reminder of her past life.
In another royal news development, Omid Scobie, a renowned royal expert, has shed light on the feud between Prince William and Prince Harry.
According to Scobie, an insider familiar with the royal family's dynamics revealed, “There's a laughable effort to suggest that the Sussexes have been shunned.
The true story is they never reached out to the Cambridges.”
Furthermore, a senior palace aide commented on the disparity between media reports and reality, stating, “Looking at the coverage, you would be forgiven for thinking that certain family members have had a say in the matter.
They have not.”
Scobie also shared insights from a family friend, who disclosed that Harry is hesitant to reconcile with his brother due to unresolved issues.
The friend stated, “What Harry is waiting for is accountability.
Many lines were crossed by William.
He was at the center of a number of painful moments, be it the actions of his own staff or turning his back when support was needed.
It was a dark time and one that, so far, William has been unprepared to unpack.”
The friend further added that William is still awaiting an apology from Harry for airing the family's private matters in public.
While most reports on the feud between William and Harry focus on Harry's actions, few sources have come forward regarding William's role in the tragic rift.
